Have you tried going into the Toybox and seeing what IS chosen there? Maybe just 'remove' the choice or something so it has to go to an 'unlisted default'?
It was already off, the default was "Fart" and there's no new sounds. I'd imagine if it updated they'd probably mention in the release notes.

I’m not seeing 45% but I do see overall these updates have been less than 200 vehicles that have had it installed. Are these people that have the CT and whatever software is reporting? Seems interesting if really only a handful of people have it installed.
I'm assuming you are getting your numbers from TeslaFi. There are only 180 Cybertrucks in the TeslaFi fleet. If you select "Cybertrucks Only" at the top of the Software Tracker you will see only those numbers. As of this post 111 of the 180 Cybertrucks or 61.7% of the TeslaFI fleet have the update.

Thanks for the clarification. I checked out TeslaFi after you mentioned it. I usually check Tessie though.

Just today (12.5.5 / 2024.32.20.1 on Cyberbeast) at a multiple (3) lane left turn with me in the outside lane and the next lane over empty, it cut way over into the next lane in the turn. Given that it was empty, that's not catastrophic, but it's still wrong, esp. if the markings are clear enough to easily stay in one's lane. Reported that.

But it doesn't need a lot of overrides in what one might call suburban (certainly not old city center with lots of one-way streets) driving.

OTOH, it doesn't necessarily "see" cones, esp. if they're knocked over. I think I flattened one, didn't hurt me any of course given the ground clearance.

And in one case I encountered a roundabout that must have been new, LOTS of cones all over the place. You bet that I took control before entering that confusing mess.

Still, not bad at all. Treat it like full Autopilot (TACC+lane maintain) on steroids, and you'll be pleasantly surprised most of the time. :)

Updated to 2024.32.20.1 last night in Medina, Ohio. I was hoping it fixed the left turn over the center lane.

According to TeslaFi, those who are subscribed and logging had a massive increase, yesterday. 29 installs on the 10th bringing the total of 43 of 56 contributing vehicles updated, 12 still a 2024.32.20 and one soul running 2024.300.1.

I am downloading it now; we have no internet after the hurricane, so I was able to download it using my WIFI Hotspot from my iPhone and it seems to be working and I like others was hoping it helps the left turn curb issue, but I am thinking it won't after reading input from this thread.

Nice. Just finished downloading 2024.32.20.1 and it is installing now. Big change for me as I'm moving from the OEM stack. Long trip tomorrow so will be exciting to try FSD.

Not a fan of the new update. Seems to ride closer to the center line while driving making me nervous as well as those passing me. Braking also seems to be later then before which I have intervened a few times. Also seems to ride closer to traffic. Looks like the adaptive cruise control no longer adjusts to speed limit signs either when you turn off the FSD.

I am just going to use as cruise control on highways for now. Almost hit a car again at stop sign this morning. I had to floor it, in my neighborhood, makes me look like a jackass and cutting someone off. I’m over it.

it dawned on me yesterday that FSD is learning from people who drive on the roads...I have SEEN those people drive and it explains why it is driving close to the center lane, driving fast and cutting left turns. COMPLETELY explains it. I wonder how it will ever be safe while learning from those drivers.

Lost already my two front left and right mud guards on these too tight a turn.

What's scary is that it crosses and encroaches on solid yellow and white lines of the other incoming lanes.
yep. had that a few times and thought....Woah.....while at the same time taking control....
