I am concerned about other owners like myself that may have a "creaking"/multi- "knocking" sound when turning and using regenerative braking (wheel turned 90°.)

This is a very concerning sound.

My truck is currently in the shop for the above listed repair (under warranty, thankfully.)

Other Tesla forums for other models stated the noise continued after half shafts were replaced, so Tesla replaced the entire drive unit after the fact.

Tesla, please look into this issue worldwide, due to my loaner also making the noise (This could be a potential recall.)

It's already a service bulletin and will be performed on any vehicle that comes in for service for free. They don't reach out to have you come in for it specifically.

Its very specific to produce the sound.

Generally speaking, you need to be traveling down a slope or hill at a fair speed, release the throttle and start to turn at the same time, so regen breaking turns on while mid turn.

my Red and black cyberbeast is currently in the Milford CT Service center, since last wed, 8 days now, same shaft bolts recall, light bar recall, can trails, new windshield gaskets and windshield, tire rotation, tailgate alignment, rear seat clip issue, and a few other things, maybe next week it should be ready, one year delivery date on this beast is June 25, 2026
approx 8,102 miles. hopefully this will be the end of the creaking and air leaks. Flordia did the can trail recall last June and i am told the windshield gaskets are all folded and messed up, hence the new windshield and gaskets. i asked for a TESLA windsheild not an aftermarket

I picked my truck yesterday at ±6:30 PM EST. For informational purposes, my truck was a 2024 FS AWD with 28,000+ miles. The front L and R shafts were replaced. Noise is not happening anymore <3.

Thank you all, for the info.
