FSD is worth while right now. Probably a good move for you to wait because once you get used to FSD on a Cybertruck, you don’t want to be without.
I’m with you! Coming off my “22 X Plaid, the CT self drive is MUCH better but it does still occasionally need an accelerator nudge to maintain the posted speed limit. (Had same problem in my X.) I really DO miss summon, hopefully it will be deployed soonest.

Dang it. Anyone else wish there was an option to show the Rear View Camera when using turn signals?

I like to be able to look in the rear view mirror when making turns for safety and better situational awareness. There use to be a time when you asked for features from Tesla, and if it made sense they would eventually add it..eg blind side camera view, Sentry mode, to name a couple.

Also, this is the only vehicle in my 40 years of driving, that I find I have the WRONG blinker on when making turns..I miss the traditional stalk. For instance the car should be smart enough to turn off the incorrect (Left) blinker if the wheel is turned to the (Right) for a turn, especially if the route is mapped! Why doesn't the auto blinker come on automatically for you?

ok, rant over...

Perhaps the issue encountered is that the user has the rear camera zoomed all the way in (digital zoom, not optical zoom). I can confirm that this does degrade the image quality substantially however I opt to use it fully zoomed so I my brain can grasp better how close the rear image is in reality to my vehicle. I will say, the zoomed image is rather poor unfortunately but that would be expected on a wide angle lens such as used for the rear camera.
ah yea to me this is the rear Cam, I always have this view up.

What happened to comfort mode on autopilot that was part of original notes? Was curious what was going to happen with autopilot.

Yeah this is the Spring Update, not the FSD Update we’ve been waiting for to bring parity with other Tesla vehicles.

I still want the Spring Update! Excited to get these features and don’t care much that adaptive headlights aren’t included. I figured the FSD Update would come in March…so I’m obviously way off in the timing. But I‘m hopeful we’ll get it in May!
The spring update notes originally said comfort mode on autopilot for CT. What happened to that?

Auto blinker is on. This only turns OFF the blinker once a turn or lane change has been completed..This ONLY turns off the blinker IF the turn was in THE SAME direction. ?‍♂

agree 100% with this. In fact, I just turned the feature off. I want the rearview mirror all the time while I like seeing the video of the turn signal I don’t like it taking away my rearview mirror it’s confusing and unhelpful in my opinion. Both or I’ll have to stick with the glass for side mirrors - I’ve decided.

  • Alternative Trip Plans: Multiple trip plans are available for selection to better suit travel needs, accessible through the navigation system.
  • Avoid Highways: Navigation can now bypass major highways when possible, offering alternative routes. Enable this by going to Controls > Navigation > Avoid Highways.
  • Dashcam Update and Side Camera Recording: The vehicle's side cameras (B-Pillar) now record to both Dashcam and Sentry Mode clips. The Dashcam Viewer app has been updated with a grid view for easier access and review of recordings.
  • Save Trunk Height Based on Location: Customize and save the trunk's opening height as a default or for specific locations (e.g., your garage). Set the height by pausing the trunk while it’s moving using the touchscreen.
  • Keyboard Languages: Additional keyboard language support has been added for improved user interface interaction.
  • Keep Accessory Power On: A new option allows 12V power sockets to remain active with an "Accessory Power" setting, re-enabling functionality that was previously disabled.
  • Minor Updates and Security Fixes: Includes various minor improvements and important security enhancements for all models.
  • Non-Tesla Charger Visibility: In Navigation settings, you can choose to show or hide chargers not owned or serviced by Tesla (applies to 2021+ Model S/X, all Model 3/Y).
  • Improved Rear Camera View: The rear camera now shows a wider field of view, enhancing visibility for rear cross-traffic (specific to HW4 Model Ys, but may apply to Cybertruck depending on hardware).
  • Automatic Hotspot Connection: If a hotspot is enabled, it automatically connects to the vehicle upon driving, eliminating the need to reconnect each time.
This is all great but what I really want is the new controller, reverse, and start from park. ASS would be ok too.

This is an enormous benefit of aftermarket digital rearview mirrors. I have one and seeing both views when turning is very very nice
