2025 AWD missing front rack mounting slots?

I have a 2025 AWD, and I'm considering installing a roof tent. I noticed there are two mounting slots at the back, but the ones above the sunroof seem to be missing. Has anyone encountered this? Any suggestions on how to add the missing slots? I'd appreciate any insights!

They are there. They are just covered up on the model you have.

Appliqués available through service center for 150bucks. They’ll install them, then you’ll have the same slots as earlier versions. Accessory wire is also available if you want it.

Can you elaborate on accessory wire? Do I need to buy that separately?

If you plan to add the light bar or similar accessory at the peak of the windshield, you will need it. I believe it is either available as an ‘accessory’ or MAY be inside the headliner and just need to be put through the grommet I am not positive which. Hope that helps!

Only if you want a roof power port.
The newer lightbars include a new harness that would replace the accessory wire.
Can always buy it later.
