Does anyone have any information as to powering my home via The 220 outlet in vault? And back power ring the house only a cable going to the dryer vent outlet. Does anyone out there give me info? I have the cable that I used for my gas powered generator.

In a pinch this seems like it would work, you have to be sure to disconnect or shut off the main breaker as well as any solar input breaker. And load balancing sounds like an unknown. This is not an advised thing to do, lots can go wrong.

I totally understand what you’re saying. I have done this in the past using my gas generator. Is there some way of monitoring?

Thanks for your input it will surely help. that’s my first concern is turning off the main power grid, and slowly turn on the breakers in the home. My problem is I used to hear my generator bog down as I turn on the breakers. I don’t know how to mount of that with the cyber truck. any help would be great.

Hey, Garee! I used this setup during the hurricanes we had and it worked great. Obviously with care taken with the main breaker.

I plugged the cord in, and shut the breaker to the outlet off (I used the circuit I ran for the charger) and closed the bed cover before the storm. When the power went out, i just walked into the garage, shut the main breaker off, turned the breaker to the outlet on, and used my app to start the electricity

It worked great, but will not power my central AC.. It is a 5 ton unit for reference. I used the app to see how much draw there was, and, without the AC, it was quite low..

Although I have a portable AC we could have plugged into an outlet if needed, it was cool enough after the storm went through that I didn't need it until the power came back on.

Good luck and be safe!

Do this with a few months ago. Worked fine. MAKE TO TURNOFF MAIN DISCONNECTION FRIST. DO NOT TURN BACK ON MAIN DISCONNECTION TILL AFTER TRUCK IS UNPLUGGED.

Like @carsly showed, you really need an inlet box and not an outlet/standard receptacle. The cable you need to go from the CT to an outlet is dangerous if the proper steps aren't taken to ensure power is turned of at both ends before use. It's easy to make that mistake. So I would avoid it. With an inlet, that breaker can be off all the time until you need it. That means plugging anything into it won't do anything until you turn it on

A cable that goes from a 14-50P to a L14-30R is what I use. It depends on the type of receptacle you have. Here is an example. I'm not recommending this specific cord - https://a.co/d/c6HxkrP

This doesn’t work at all. I drove around with my clothes for 3 hours and they still weren’t dry

Does it mention anywhere in the docs that CT's inverter isn't capable of working with another generation source ?

pretty certain this is the holdup on solar + PowerShare. The inverter can only go one way at a time and thus if you generate power outside it you’re likely to over generate and *something* will have to sink the energy created. I’d rather that not be my microinverters.
