I don't think this is the case, because If it was removed for people, I am assuming it's sold out now.

Here's a question: If one does NOT jump on the Founder's invite, and the app page stays there, will it switch over to non FS CT orders eventually?

You will definitely have a shot again sometime in 2025 or 2026. The Foundation Series is probably every truck Tesla makes in 2024 IMO. It looks like they sold the CyberTrucks they think they can make next year.

This is definitely not the case

while I agree they have sold the foundation units they think they can deliver through to say Q1, they definitely intend to configure/sell/deliver many moreretail units in the remaining quarters of 2024

I still havent decided whether im willing to spend $130k on a mostly unknown (for my purposes) truck but its a little weird that I have 22 pre orders from the first day and still nothing. I ASSumed it was because they were due to the location of the LLC being in montana but now since youve been invited I wonder if its the amount of orders and the suspicion that I intend to flip them preventing me?

Then how come the CyberBeast is not going to be delivered until the end of 2024? There are just as many CyberBeasts ordered as Dual-motor.

We all know Tesla and their timelines. If they say January to March 2024, they really mean January to June 2024.

I see more of a Model 3 ramp instead of a Model Y ramp for the CyberTruck. The Model Y shared a lot of parts from the 3, which made it a lot easier. The CyberTruck is a lot different in every aspect.

go review the VIN tracking thread

Cyberbeast are parts constrained

not counting the ones delivered at the delivery event, Tesla has registered a single (1) Cyberbeast VIN while they have registered ~200 AWD VINs to date

We’ve been discussing and researching this for months around here.

Which is a good context/reminder for new members (welcome!) to start with questions rather than assertions, esp when it comes to what some might consider very bad news.

Yes, if you ordered a Cyberbeast Foundation, you may be waiting MUCH longer for delivery than someone who ordered an AWD Foundartion, unless/until Tesla can resolve its beast driveline parts bottleneck.

And yes, if you hope to buy a ‘normal’ Cyberbeast, you’ll be even behind that long wait line of the beast Foundation.

But the AWD does not have the same constraint, and Tesla will be building more than the Foundation AWD for much of 2024

I do know that my reservation was viewed and changed by Tesla. My wife wanted it showing her name as well. So I changed the account name for our Tesla account months ago. A week and a half ago they removed her name...

We are non LLC. So maybe, but it does ask you how you want it titled. LLC is an option.

I believe I know the answer to this.
The home backup equipment is not close to ready yet and as the cyberbeast includes labor cost to install they don’t want the PR nightmare of holding peoples cash on a prepaid install.

That does make sense. This rollout will have many more obstacles than many people realize. I am giving up the $7500 Tax Credit and paying insane money for laser engraving because I know Tesla and their timelines. If I don't get this truck now, it might be years before I get an opportunity again.

From a build quality standpoint, something tells me these early Foundation editions may actually be worth getting:

Musk revealed that when friends ask him when is the best time to buy a Tesla, he says “either buy it right at the beginning or when production reaches a steady state”.
