Don't think this video is an apple to apples comparison as to what I'm describing. The 2nd video, the producer of it, is driving with one hand, shooting video with his phone in hand and as noted in video, got a strike for not driving properly with FSD. I never was notified ever, the entire 2 hours of driving. to pay attention. Because I was.

Understandable, that is completely unacceptable. Seems like CT is not doing a good job at identifying driver awareness

Hopefully the FSD learning curve is quick here. I'm surprised it's having these types of issues, I never experienced any of this type stuff with my Model Y during the free FSD period.

I hope so too.

Why did you put the car into the lane that's ending, to test it? In a construction zone also, that you're also going waaaay to fast in. Dangerous.

You can clearly see that round about is new, and that FSD is treating it like a left turn:

You intervened waaaay too late.

Dangerous driving.

Tesla has been extremely careful and hesitant to release FSD to the general public because most people simply don't have a good understanding of the limitations.

You have to keep an eye out on what you think the vehicle is attempting to do and mitigate if it appears to be choosing the wrong action. My testing with the software even in early state is that its skill level and decision making is mostly comparable to a new driver with varying confidence levels (depending on the route/task).

Unfortunately it will be absolutely abused by impaired and low skilled drivers very soon as more people get their hands on it. The paywall mitigates a lot of that for now though.

Videos like these are an important safety notice. You should remain vigilant and not allow compliancy put you in a dangerous situation. Supervised FSD must always be... supervised.

First off. If you watch the video, I didn't switch to the left lane, the car did. You'll notice, I didn't move the steering wheel and the blinker goes on without me doing anything. Regarding the roundabout. I've never been here before, I don't know the age of the roundabout nor did I know it was going to go left. You are completely correct that I waited too long do intervened, this was intentional and acknowledged. I was waiting to see what it was going to do. Had there been traffic I would have intervened earlier. I think the truck was going to stop or make a hard correction right, I ultimately made it go left, as it was less abrupt to go the wrong way than to fight back right. Regardless, its FSD 12.5, I've driven my Model Y FSD, didnt think going around a circle correctly was still on the list of anomalies.

Not taking your comments personally. That said, I have a vast amount of driving experience and drove 40,000 lbs firetrucks for over 32 years. Have about 15k miles on CT already. Also drove my Model Y with FSD without incident. I certainly was letting the truck going a little further on its own without disengagements. This only happened a few times in the 2+ hour drive and I only did it in areas where there was no risk of injury or property damage. What I did underestimate, is the level the Cybertruck is currently doing FSD. I assumed that since its 12.5 and that all the other Teslas have it already, that it wasn't at the point, where in broad daylight its driving into a cone merges where I need to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting a car directly in front of us or going the wrong way at a circle. I thought we were at hard difficult things, like HARD left turns on 4 lane roads or driving in Chicago under the train tracks learning.

Yep! Each new vehicle added to FSD will come with its own fine tuning nuances. Driving safely is far more complex that most people realize :)

You'll need to spare a little attention for the messages it's giving you, I guess. Hard to tell with your camera so high we can't see the road what it's saying or reacting to.

Also, make sure not to activate FSD if it needs to maneuver or act immediately, it will assume you're handing it off in a safe situation.
