Just met a guy with a a tactical grey while charging my CT with a white interior. Considered the grey but went with the white. In my opinion side by side the white pops and looks better, but day to day living I bet the grey is nicer for the reduced glare on the windows (which worsened after tinting). For now I live with my decision and am happy.
Yeah, I really liked the white across the dash, but the door portion just felt out of place for me. Will say that it wouldn't have made a hell of a difference if white was the only option. I'd still have purchased :D

My recent test drive was awesome as well.

The SBW and RWS combination makes the full size truck feel very nimble. The feature is a game changer in the full size truck segment. No other competitor offers it.
Very hard to drop $80-100k on a review that it is good when there is so so so much FUD on the internet. Butts in seats will sell these. They are very nice vehicles.

As long as banks are trying to eek out profits from the rate decrease, we won't see a big impact on demand.

Which means Tesla doing an end-run around the big banks and taking soft loss low interest loans will most likely be the next lever, now that they've normalized the other rewards.

But they touch all the little buttons before they hit price. Hopefully they can hit that price one - sorry guys who can afford it, you're just going to have to see depreciation as it nears 'average truck price'. You're right, it has the performance... But there's only so many people who can afford 1-1.5k/mo truck payments. (Or have that much saved up - and the sell off by the board members this fourth quarter will put me behind on my goal.)

In fact, when Tesla first announced that they were working on a pickup, the common expectation was that it would basically be a Model Y with a bed. For example, Motor Trend imagined that a Tesla pickup would look like this:

Obviously Tesla chose to go a completely different -- and probably much more expensive -- route.
Glad they didn't make that.

I wonder if current sales will impact the planned production increase in late Q4. Tesla stated their goal was 2500 trucks per week, 125,000 annual production, towards the end of the 2024.

I can almost guarantee some type of Cybertruck sales incentive is coming around for Veterans Day, November 11th. $1k off MSRP, low financing, etc.

It might be time for Tesla to pull the demand lever for the CT.
Or maybe start producing that single engine rear wheel drive version?

Single engine rear wheel lever first I hope. That will hit the price.

The Cybertruck will never be a high volume vehicle for Tesla due to its polarized styling and premium price point.
It's already a high-volume vehicle. More than all other EV trucks!

I went foundation series beast and opted for the tactical grey myself when I ordered and took delivery back in Sept. Personally felt like the white on the door just looked too out of place.
I agree about the tactical grey but went for the all-wheel drive. Going to be picking it up 11/18/24 and am really excited!

Around 13 million US households have the financial capacity to consider a $100,000 vehicle.
If only 10% of those people decided they wanted one, that's still 1.3 million.
If only 10% of those people actually bought one in the next year or two, that's still 130,000.

But now you only need $80k to get one. Statistically, 26 mil could afford that, so I think we might have a while before prices drop dramatically. But who knows. I do agree they will come down, and I can't wait... I need a 450 mile beast with a midgate for the current price of AWD!
