I know it's not the end of the world and I know it's a truck........ but would anyone complain about this gap difference? It's the "A" Frame piece that flows over the back windows to the front fenders.
I'll take it if you don't!

Did any solders in WWII care about the panel gaps in our Sherman tanks? :)

I had a 26 beast over night demo. I can't believe how cheap the steering wheel feels. It needs a leather wrap ASAP.

I was always resistant to mods and in the long run have been pleased with that choice but im going to have to add the steering wheel mod to mats/armrest/dash mat.

Total mods: $250
I'm not planning on touching the wheel much...

Also I'm seeing a bunch of those well documented rust spots from shipping,
That is not rust. It is rail dust. It is a surface contaminant that is common on all unwrapped vehicles, but more visible on the stainless steel. Your truck is not rusting. It has oxidized dust on it. Similar to pollen season. When it has pollen dust on it, it has not been painted yellow.

If i understand correctly, he said that it charged at 500 only for about 6% of the curve and that by 10% where he started his test it was already down to 400. In fact, you can see at the beginning of the test it was drawing 395 which it maintaned for a brief period and then doglegged down to 161 at the end of the test.

Perhaps disaapointing to some but it scored 2nd for trucks in his test.
I watched the video today and I was pleasantly surprised the SAWD did so well. Something like 112 miles on a fifteen minute charge from 10% I believe.

It’s assumed this is a new cell for Tesla. If that’s true, they are probably sandbagging the curve early, while they let us test their new batteries. Under warranty of course. If they hold up, Tesla will improve the curve, as they have in the past. The fact it touched the 500 range at all shows the hardware is there. IMOP

Dissolves iron like magic.

I second that. (y)

Bought a 4 liter container of it in 2017 to use when paint correcting cars. As @Mini2nut said, it works like magic, melting away iron particles on the surface. Smells horible but it's effective. Fortunatley I have just enough left to prepare my F150 for sale and take care of the CT when it arrives.

To me, what was more impressive is the 80mph in their 10% challenge. Anything over 70mph really hits the CT's efficency hard.

Not sure if Kyle and team will do a 100%-0% range test, in which they drive at 70mph until the empty. Would love to see if they can get over 302 miles that State of Charge got on the FS PAWD.

@Cyberbro - Congrats!!

Just curious, how do you guys know your CT is on the lot? Does someone from the sales team call you to let you know it's arrived or does the app tell you? Or, are you stalking the SC every day after it's "in transit"?

@TarheelCT @59K @CT_TX - Question:
Has anyone checked behind the center console to see how Tesla handled the missing 120V outlet?
Did Tesla:
- Leave the wiring harness/connector in place?
- Remove everything completely?
Trying to determine if a future retrofit is possible.

I have not. I was going to take a look at the air filter to see if we got a Hepa but I’ve heard the RWD did not so I’m assuming it’s the same.

Re HEPA, it does not have it but when you look can you see if the particulate filter can be replaced with the larger HEPA filter, or is the hardware only capable of the smaller filter.

@yoshinoone try emailing them at " [email protected] " they are very responsive in my experience. Better yet, make a trip to visit them early in the morning with a dozen donuts and I am sure you will see results.
They finally got back to me! My car has been held at the Tesla service center for a software update. But should a software update really take 10 days? They say it's done and ready for pickup. Should I trust them? Should I switch to a different VIN? I really need your advice.
