I don't have a Vin but in the Raw JSON script, it says that my order is substatus "Z"

This acts as a logistical hold that blocks the vehicle from being assigned to a transport truck until it receives final signoff. [1, 2, 3]
If your Tesla App or JSON code shows this status, it typically indicates one of the following:

• QA Hold/Rework: The vehicle is being held at the factory for final quality checks or minor repairs (e.g., paint touch-ups or software calibration) before being cleared for delivery.
• In-Transit/Lot Hold: The car is built and sitting at a delivery center or railyard waiting to be loaded onto a transport truck. [1, 2, 3]

Once the vehicle passes its final quality inspections and logistics scheduling, the substatus usually flips to _A and you will be able to schedule your delivery. [1]///////

i own two other teslas that were delivered over the past few years - both also show in this json as _Z. My MX was a pre-own purchase from tesla & shows _Z.

I was casually reading the forum one day when Sjohnson20 posted in an old thread that he had received a Sawd Vin. I was shocked by the timing and wasn't expecting it so i immediately asked him if he could start a new thread about it cause I didn't think anyone would see it and it was too big a news. Im glad we have a didecated spot to get all delivery news and props to AWDMK4 as well

This thread and forum are gaining respect even on the Cybertruck Reddit page. I’ll repeat what @Alpine said, big thanks to @AWDMK4 and @comet2 for their contributions.

Based upon @comet2 getting his VIN because of an early reservation, I predict @P_O_Man3849 and @judokadonk should be getting a VIN very soon. Both ordered from a pre-2020 RN#.

I like reading comments and the excitement behind it. I ordered mine on 2/21 and did not cancel my original reservation a week after the reveal of the CT.

Alpine’s posts are some of the most thought-provoking on the forum—well researched, fact-based, and refreshingly free of the usual forum BS.

Today is the day (6/19). The delivery manager wanted to show the service manager a couple of issues I had pointed out to see if we could get them addressed. Most everything will be handled via mobile service, so I’m good with that. They don’t have parts lying around for Cybertrucks as they do with Model Y’s and the like. I’ll be sure to update once I take delivery. Plus work has been RIDICULOUS, which I’m grateful for.

I've been a member of about a dozen automotive forums, starting in 1999 with VWVortex. Before that, I was chatting on Newsgroups, for those of you who have been around the internet for a while.

Not to get too sentimental here, but the "$59k Owner’s Group", and the folks in this thread have been amazing. The comradery, sharing of perspectives, advice from previous CT owners, and encouragement to keep our sanity while waiting, has exceeded my expectations.

What’s clear to me is we all 2 things in common, we all agree the Cybertruck is an amazing vehicle and we know an amazing deal when we see one!

Playing around with ChatGPT this morning I had it pull some stats from the forum. While I don’t have access to the raw data like a forum admin may, this is pretty impressive regardless. This thread appears to be the #3 most replied and viewed thread of all time!

Hopefully someone at Tesla will take note and the “SAWD” will get the love it deserves.

Delivery date - Originally Sept-Oct per website, then after order per app Assist 9/30-12/9, then 2027, then Cannot access individual order information. Copilot claims this is because my order will be a 2027 model for which no deliveries have been scheduled.

You have thrown me back in time with VW Vortex. I had a 2006 GTI and loved the plaid seats in that thing. I can’t believe 20 years has flown by so fast! What a fun car! Great group of folks here helping each other. Cybertruck owners need to stick together. We’re the only ones that understand the beauty of this beast.
