$59k CT delivered 6/26/26
Country flag
The eagle has landed with 7 miles on the odometeršŸ‘

I ordered on 2/20 and took delivery today. I was scheduled for Sunday pickup but the truck arrived to the SC early. It took just over 2-weeks to arrive once it was shipped from TX. The SC representative said it was the first SAWD he remembers seeing come in.

I spent a good 45 minutes inspecting the vehicle inside and out. I checked operation of the tonneau cover, tailgate, all doors, all windows, frunk, no door rattles when closing all 4 doors, windshield seals, door weatherstripping, glass roof was perfectly centered, no different shades of body panels, all 4 door styling lines were spot on, etc. Also, no aberrations in the windshield and all of the glass was perfect.

I would rate the overall build quality a 98.7 out of 100. One can-trail was slightly misaligned (service ticket) on the rear passenger side, the drivers side tailgate upper black panel isn't 100% flush on the drivers side and there was a very, very hard to notice depression/dimple on the passenger side frunk that won't photograph. The 3 CT's parked next to me, all Premium trims, all looked the same so I decided to accept delivery. Otherwise the truck was perfect.

Don't expect Lexus or Porsche exterior fit and finish with your Cybertruck, it's not going to happen. You may notice some very minor issues thanks to the thick 1.4mm and 1.8mm exterior SS panels. It's simply the nature of the beast.

My VIN is quiet as a church mouse inside. It's tight! Going over some speed bumps and rough roads on the way home revealed zero rattles, squeaks, abnormal noises or wind noise. Those are a HUGE pet peeve of mine so my CT passed with flying colors.

I truly feel as though I received a "good one" that wasn't assembled on a Monday or Thursday (4 10-hour CT assembly days last I heard). My app updated on a Tuesday saying it was being assembled and Thursday it updated again stating truck was in transit. Since Tesla only lists the month/year it was assembled I can only go by my app updates.

The truck is worth the wait. The steering dynamics, futuristic styling, SS exterior and technology are what sold me on the CT. The SBW and RWS makes the truck a true pleasure to drive. I was also pleasantly surprised at how good the 18" steelies and fabric seats look in person.

This is our 3rd Tesla purchase and we are spoiled on the ease of the purchase transaction. For those who are purchasing their first Tesla you are in for a rare automobile purchasing experience.

No sleazy salesman to deal with. No back and forth with a salesman who has to bring your offer to a manager for approval. No waiting your turn to enter the dreaded high pressure finance office and being forced to purchase a mandatory $995 doc fee that is pure dealers profit. You won’t be forced to listen to a long winded sales pitch for flat tire plans, glass protection, fabric protection, paint sealant, window tinting, undercoating, theft protection, extended warranties, nitrogen for your tires, VIN glass etching, etc.

I know, I know. Pic or it didn't happen:)

I spent a good 45 minutes inspecting the vehicle from top to bottom. I checked operation of the tonneau cover, tailgate, all doors, all windows, frunk, no door rattles when closing all 4 doors, windshield seals, door weatherstripping, glass roof was perfectly centered, etc. Also, no aberrations in the windshield and all of the glass was perfect.

I would rate the overall build quality a 98.5 out of 100. One can-trail was slightly misaligned (service ticket) on the rear passenger side and there was a very, very hard to notice depression/dimple on the passenger side frunk that won't photograph. The 3 CT's parked next to me, all Premium trims, all looked the same so I decided to accept delivery. Otherwise the truck was perfect.

Damn Mini2nut I'm so happy for you. I remember you've been wanting one of these forever. We both placed an order the same time/day, I remember we were both stoked on the thread that was started when this version came out. Maybe it's a sign I'll get mine soon even though I don't have a VIN? šŸ˜‚
Congrats šŸŽ‰ šŸ’ÆšŸ“

Thanks!

I gave up on CT ownership after cancelling my 70k RWD order due to the major de-contenting.

I forgot to mention how smooth the ride is. The combo of the 18" tires and near perfect suspension tuning by the Tesla chassis engineering team makes the truck drive Smooooooth. It made my old Toyota Tacoma feel like a Flintstone mobile. The ride quality exceeds my expectations.

@Alpine. This may be a dumb question but any idea what IG02 means in the DSFT app?

1782510119105-19.webp

Tactical Grey.
Full json codes below

vehicle_model": "Cybertruck", "option_codes": { "APFA": "Autopilot Firmware / Full Self-Driving (FSD) Package", "IG02": "Tactical Grey Interior (Premium Interior Option)", "CYBR": "Model Designation: Cybertruck", "SC04": "Pay-Per-Use Supercharging (Paid Supercharging)", "MTC08": "Model Trim: Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD)", "WH8A": "20\" Cyber Wheels", "tw01": "Towing Package (Integrated Hitch and Trailer Software)", "cpf0": "Standard Connectivity Firmware Option" } }

Thanks @Alpine.

I thought IG02 may have meant I was in Ignore Group 02, you know, the one that will never see their truck this year.

I never believed the 2027 date. I said back then once production gets rolling, tesla can knock out 10 days of orders by summers end which is still a very good possibility. When they really started cranking out cybertrucks in the summer of 2024, it suddenly dried up all pending orders. They can knock out this 10 day order queue in no time if they get production out of 1st gear
Yea I’ve been following this website silently for like 2 years Saw that u said that prior posts im proof for sure You were correct

My Tesla rep said you can delay delivery for up to two weeks.

I also asked what happens if someone "rejects delivery" for QC issues. He stated due to strong demand for the CT at the moment you go to the back of the line.

Hi All – Just joined the board, but I’ve been watching this thread for the last couple of months. I put my order in for the 59K version on 2/28 because the delivery estimate wasn’t until 2027.

Does the pre-sale process give the option for designating a later delivery date?

I got the prompt to complete the pre-sale information earlier in the month, but I haven’t opened/started it since I didn’t want to actually get an earlier delivery date
