I ordered the 20”. To the casual observer the difference between a premium and dual motor with 20” will be zero.

I’m setting my rig up for road tripping. It’s also for making dump runs etc., but I want it to be as efficient as possible on the highway. I deleted the terrestrial armor because although cool, I’d be paying $3000 and almost 200 pounds extra weight for the coolness. I’m not going to be doing anything that requires rock rails anyway. I resisted the temptation to order side steps during Amazon prime day because if you look under the side steps most people are buying, it looks like they never considered the importance of aerodynamics. It’s a ridiculous row of metal plates sticking perpendicular to the air stream. You’d have to work to make it any worse. My mods so far are: aluminum wheels (9 pounds lighter per corner), digital rear view mirror, cool center console and floor mats. I make trips up into Wyoming and the Dakotas and trust me, every bit of extra efficiency is good to have!
In almost all efficiency tests that have been done with running boards, they have shown a negligible impact.

Depends on your definition of negligible. A few percent for running boards, a few percent for under inflated tires, a few percent for driving 80 instead of 75, a few percent for not using FSD. It all adds up.

I don't consider the premium superior. Just a differently optioned ct. the adaptive coilovers and seats are an upgrade to me

The casual observer won't see a difference between a Cybertruck and a refrigerator. But the Premium or Beast owner will know we have El Cheapo. Personally I don't care what others think.

In fact, some are clearly proud to proclaim that they got "El Cheapo".

El cheapo i guess. Sawd is every bit the truck the pawd is - and in some respects, superior. We got our trucks on sale. Congratulations if you got in. Sawd purchased today will set you back $77k out the door in TX, $90k if financed. Still a vehicle the vast majority of people can't afford

I would get the liense plate 59er if Hawaii didnt have specific plates for EVs. Both the casual observer and CT elite would think I'm a dime short.

Not if the refrigerator has a water dispenser.😊

Friends, just want to share my experience with the truck.
Before I bought the Cybertruck, I kept telling my wife how awesome it would be as a backup power source if the grid ever went down. She didn’t really see the point since we rarely lose power. Well, today we actually had a blackout—and the truck totally saved the day. Being able to run our refrigerator and freezer right off the bed outlets was a lifesaver. The look of pure relief and the huge smile on her face when I reminded her we had the truck made the whole purchase feel completely worth it.

To top it off, last week we were stuck on a ferry for an hour in 100-degree heat. While every other car had to kill their engines and bake, we were sitting in perfect A/C, watching Netflix on the giant screen, and literally brewing fresh espresso from the truck bed in the middle of the water. Moments like that make this truck feel incredibly valuable.

Can’t wait for all of you to get it and try it.
