I have watched the video regarding the Cybertruck accelerator issue and it was quite obvious for me that the spot welding was done incorrectly.
I think it is just time and your driving habit when this will happen. I think because of the materials wide difference and the lack of time to do proper testing with the technology change.
There are so many way to prevent this.
While I am not a pedal to the pedal person but if Tesla within a week doesn’t make a recall and fix it I will just put couple of rivet there to keep the cover sliding from the pedal and we are good to go.
