Has Tesla been requiring people sign waivers acknowledging the lack of functioning features on the cybertruck?

This was one of my main reservations paying the premium of the Foundation Series and not even having the functionality of the premium features.

To be honest I've never liked the thought of paying premium price for something that is not available yet. If you look at it, individuals that may be getting the non FS truck next year may have all of the features available to them at that time for much less money.

Especially when they fluctuate the prices so much.
FSD is now $8k, my PowerShare credit for supercharging is only a year, may not get HW for universal charger, and I am now reading the Premium Connectivity on the new order agreements isn't "lifetime premium connectivity", my Model Y resale price has been a sine wave for 6 months now...
To top it off, that $20k for Foundation Series doesn't mean you'll get your vehicle before someone with referral points...and the delivery quality/experience has been shite.

Really making it difficult to justify my $20k FS cost...

The extra dough is for early adoption. Nobody's forcing anyone to buy the FS by making them pay more. It is a choice that one makes.

Early Model S and Model X owners, care to share some of your experiences for paying so much when you got your teslas? I am thankful to them, otherwise, Tesla would have really struggled, even collapsed.

While i would have liked a few things immediately at delivery like diff lockers and a few other software tweaks (proper towing vehicle visualization), i kind of like being an early adopter and getting significant feature updates OTA.

FS is a choice. Folks who don't like being early adopters should wait.
