Please recommend me a charger cable extension that works well and fully compatible with the CT. I bought one and it doesn’t want to open the charger port.

That is a good recommendation but it does not work if you are trying to extend the NACS connection from something like a Wall Connector. Why not extend the power socket to charger instead of charger to charger.
A basic 220 RV power extension cable should work just fine.
In that case maybe it would be more cost effective to add a junction box and move the wall connector. It shouldn’t cost more than 50-100 bucks for a diy. That is a good recommendation but it does not work if you are trying to extend the NACS connection from something like a Wall Connector.
Yeah that could be but it also could be that doesn’t work. I do agree to be careful with extensions for anything NACS. Personally I rolled the dice and snagged the below product. I looked it over and did some testing with a multimeter to make sure there wasn’t some kind of crossed wired error that would blow up my rides. For sure I agree 100% never use an extension for DC anything. In my head an extra 16 feet for up to 48 amps felt safe enough. I am in no way saying this is completely safe or that anyone should use this product. I am not a certified electrician though I consider my knowledge to be average to above average with electrical tasks. Just sharing my thoughts and what I felt was safe to use. I keep this in the smugglers bay to be used in an emergency out in the wild if some level 2 charger is ICED or otherwise blocked and I need a charge. All of our normal locations (family houses that we cables stored for our visits) I used extention cords before the mobile charge as you recommend as I agree it is the better option. In that case maybe it would be more cost effective to add a junction box and move the wall connector. Foundation series came with the Powershare mobile connector. Wall Connector (24 foot cord) was linked to Powershare installation.Didn't all foundation series come with the charging equipment? Or was that Beast only?
The new Tesla Wall Connector has a cord that is absurdly long. I didn't measure it, but it looks like I could wrap the cord around my truck 3 times. I had two previous versions of the Wall Connector, one had a short cord and one had a medium cord. Instead of messing with extension devices, which I'm sure would void a warranty if something went wrong, I highly recommend the newest version of the Wall Connector that may be used in conjunction with the power share backup system.
They all did but the mobile wall charger is limited to 32 ams. I beleive the wall charger is 48 amps and up depending on the version.Didn't all foundation series come with the charging equipment? Or was that Beast only?

Yeah, older Wall Connectors could supply 80A, but no current production Teslas have onboard chargers over 48A.They all did but the mobile wall charger is limited to 32 ams. I beleive the wall charger is 48 amps and up depending on the version.
