Wouldn’t it be 48A x 240 V = 11.52 kW on both vehicles?

I've charged my Cyberbeast and my new Model 3P Highland numerous times with the Tesla Gen 2 Universal Connector and zero issues. This Connector works great also with my Rivian R1T and R1S. ?

Man, I have no idea what to say. The error is a physical one; unlike a CCS Tesla reuses the connectors.

The wattage is detected through a simple resistance loop for Wall Connectors, like J1772. They do throw some communications atop it, but they don't have anything to do with the error you're seeing.

Baffling.

I believe it's physical and not latching based on error message....weird one for sure....

Charged today at my 16amps and it does charge, just takes forever!

As soon as I get my voucher I'll get the new one/powershare - just dont want to wait that long.

ok, ordered an amazon charger extension cable - works at full 48amps/11kw now. so it was something physically off just a bit to prevent locking the charger handle. 0 damage to the legacy charger and worked fine for 4 years on my m3p....and locks in the amazon extension cable too.

Excited to charge at home! hope this helps someone in the future!

Just hooked up my truck for the first time and getting 16amps / 4kw...it does 48amps on my M3P.

Error. Charge port latch not engaged - Fully insert charge cable or check for obstruction...

First charge last night at a supercharger worked just fine.

Any known issues with the CT / Gen 2 compatibility?

Will open a ticket to see what Tesla says but figured someone on here might have seen this issue before.

Thx
Mine works fine. 48/48 at 27/28 mph
