"Disclaimer: NACS EVject may get hot during supercharging sessions from 0-35% when the charger exceeds its own amp rating. Please handle with care until EVject and charger wand cool down. EVject has been tested up to • 252 kW on Superchargers• 330 kW on CCS1 chargers. We don't recommend charging at rates above that at this time."

Seems like there's a risk at V4 cabinets...
252kw on superchargers, depending on model and soc, would be around 650 amps. So above 500 amps I stated there. CCS as a protocol until recently was limited to 500 amps. Most CCS/non-Tesla NACS chargers out there are 500 or less (EVGO has some that go over and now Ionna too). Now Tesla will run 800+ amps on V4 cabinets. I wouldn't trusty ANY adapter at that many amps.

When they are talking 330kW there, they are talking about on a CT with 800v architecture where the CT is around 425 amps.

My personal opinion, I wouldn't trust any adapter above 500 amps consistently. EVJect is probably fine as they worked with Tesla to revise it. I wouldn't myself. But 500 amps or less I don't see an issue with.

Wasn’t aware of that. I have charged at v4 with it in fact with near zero charge and exceeded those speeds. I did not notice any increased heat but I’ll stop doing that and email EVJECT to ask.
thanks Gus

Not a single person he has such a truck. We all purchased rigorously tested vehicles.

No, they didn't specify "Tesla approved", just "validated". Anyone can validate their own product.

I posted this response because there are naive people out there who are blissfully unaware and unbothered on how much life ending electricity is flowing through those cables.

Put it this way pal, if I see anyone using one out in the wild I'm immediately reporting it to Tesla Roadside, where they can dispatch someone to the station. Tesla will eventually search the logs and find out who used it; possibly banning them from ever using the network again.

Tesla is also starting to install a lot more cameras at their stations. You should read their Terms of Use.
yep.

this is a different product. they sell an extension for home charger already. I think I saw that A2Z was working on the higher rating. possibly directly with tesla. thats why it isnt available yet.

edit: according to chat gpt theyre not working with tesla and yes currently tesla says these things are a no-no for all the reasons stated in other threads. I however remain hopeful that the company will do its due diligence.
Has anyone tried their home charge extension cord? I could use an extra few feet sometimes depending on which cars I park in which spots… but if it’s gonna destroy my battery or burn the garage down it’s not worth it (obviously)…

Personally , i think daisy chaining even a used Tesla wall connector is a way better approach.
