This is getting very close to orderable, but the shipping is all weird, cheaper to ship the entire set by alot then the sails and tailgate cap alone, plus the screw setup for the tailgate cap still needs a better setup, we need round head stainless fastener so nothing gets caught on them when loading and no scratching.

The tailgate fasteners will be flush mount so as not to catch anything loaded into the bed. Also there will be shims/reinforcements to prevent any bending of the cap as it is tightened down into place.

could offer redesigned screws that have socket for crossbars in the "head" .. just thinking out loud

Like I said, anything is possible with enough collaboration. The biggest issues I see are what happens if you’re not running your roof rack? And now you have a roof rack that doesn’t match the surrounds. Your gonna want one of JAM Specialty Production’s upcoming Stainless steel roof racks/cross bars.

Nice! I checked out the website and it looks like the sides were not sanded to have a consistent surface texture? will the final product be more polished? Also could you tell me the bolt size for the tailgate cover? M8? 1/4? I would like to find some really nice low profile stainless steel bolts for that. Thanks. For those who mentioned about the shipping, currently showing around $130 for the tailgate cover with UPS, I did some research and found that's about right with the UPS depending on the package size. However USPS can be almost half the cost as long as the package dimension is less than 76 inch x 8inch x8inch (30lbs used for the weight criteria that should be plenty enough I think)which is $76.88 with Click-N-Ship using USPS Ground Advantage. but we need to also factor in the compensation for packaging, time and effort to ship it. That can go way down when there is high volume.

The surface texture comes from an industrial overhead belt sander and is nearly indistinguishable from the Tesla Finish when on the truck, but yes as explained in the video there will be a final finishing step where a series of scotchbrite pads on DA sander will be used to get that signature finish. The bolts measure 6mm so M6 but you don’t have to search around as the perfect ones will ship with the product. I will pass on the shipping info to Jasper that’s good info!

I am a cheap person but I’m not seeing an unreasonable price with what these guys are making.

Prices for anything connected to the cybertruck are insane but not this set.
