from what I know each case is different. It can drop to 24amps and keep working a while but when it completely goes it does eventually give ac charging error on the screen. Mine gives me a charging error when I plug it in at home says disconnect and retry no power from handle. In service mode it gives more information with error codes.

My building has super slow chargers so I’ve only ever charged at 24 amps so I guess I wouldn’t know unless I go into service mode?

Yea if it’s begging to fail there might be an alert in there.. some hotels have them which is cool for staying overnight. But if fails you can supercharge just takes away you ability to use destination wall chargers level basically AC charging. DC fast chargers should work.

Mine threw an error. Finished my errands, went home no errors, but charging em was down to 24A. Went into the notifications and the alerts were still referenced there.

id take it on the trip. Software 2026.2.9.7 and greater have the update that will let you supercharge in the event the PCs fails. You should be good. Be like Nike and Just do it.

Update on mine tho, currently in a AWD loaner vin 005072. Mines in right now for the PCS looks like 1072$ for that, 800 to get my clunking tailgate fixed and 2200 for fresh tires yay!

Little birdy tells me they have a few PCS’s that come in today.
