I want to buy a CT, but have been reluctant since I wonder if any updates/fixes are coming soon. Anyone heard anything?

The only real fixes the truck needs are longer range, and a mid-gate. Both of which are not happening, so like Griswold said waiting is only denying yourself a great vehicle.

I have a 25, no need for updates and fixes. Not sure what you're waiting for. The longer you wait the longer you'll be alive without a Cybertruck...
Good points Griswold .. I was mainly thinking about waterproof rear tonneau, better rear view mirror (like some aftermarket ones), and possibly door handles for emergency crew access.

I was able to get a CT loaner for 3 days while they fixed my Model Y. I was really impressed, which I don't think I could have realized with just a 30 min Demo drive.

It was never advertised as waterproof.

After market or watch the

and possibly door handles for emergency crew access.

it already has emergency releases inside of doors. First responders are trained in how to break glass and or open a door that’s locked

Have a 2024 Foundation Cyberbeast tri-motor 3K miles. All updates in. Except Light bar is installed and not connected - have recall and waiting for its update. Manufactured Sept 2024. Not the white interior. Love it! fits in my garage ok. To many other drives so don't put any miles on it.

My bed area has been dry for two years (and I live and park in constant rain most of the winter). Parked uphill or downhill, it doesn't matter, cargo stays dry. I don't need a rearview mirror, I use my side mirrors and they work just fine for everything but vehicles within one car length behind (which the rear camera works fine for).

Door handles? No thank you, I haven't needed them and not worried about not having them. Every door has a manual release and I know where there are. This is above and beyond federal motor vehicle safety standards (which only require manual releases on the front doors).

Haha didn't see that tool in the Tesla shop
I did look into what it would take to put in a midgate, but there is a BUNCH of casting, not to mention cover function etc.
