My work has a front entrance and back parking lot. I put it in as my work location and FSD will only pull into the front area not the back parking. I have tried dropping a pin in the parking area and using that but I cannot get it to work, it always goes back to the front entrance address. No matter what I do it keeps changing to the address and FSD pulls into the front. Any tricks or ideas?

I had to adjust mine. I deleted my "Work address" in the navigation window where you'd normally just click on "Work" or "Home". Then, instead of entering an address, I long-pressed on the map where I wanted to park. Now, it navigates to not only the right parking lot, but the exact area of the parking lot I picked.

Still haven't figured out how to get it to back into my driveway on the right hand side for easy charging.
You'd think that changing navigation destination to "Charger" would be enough. I mean, Tesla knows where your charger is. It seems setting home when you are parked in the exact spot would be enough for your truck to know the orientation and location of your preferred parking spot. But, no. Mine doesn't do that and it freaks out in my driveway. It actually initiated like a 20-point turn to get turned around in my driveway and then started to leave. I'm like "Nope. I just commuted an hour and a half. I don't want to do that again today!"

I have a spot at work in the parking lot: how can I park in my exact spot?

I’d love to know that too. I wish you could program “current location” as a favorite. Like a way point. Haven’t figured out how to do that though.

Dunno, but a week ago, when I got v14.2 my truck drove me to the gym, and wanted to park out front. I disengaged in order to park in back, like I always do. The next day, it parked in back! It had never even tried to do that before. I was shocked. I don't know how to tell it or teach it to park in a preferred general area, but that's what happened last week. I took a pic. Generally, I back in, but it parked head-in.

Not for me. Everytime it's trying to park on any empty spot at work, disengage FSD and park in my spot and the same next day.

To think FSD has reached to this level that we are discussing how to make FSD park in a specific parking space. Year ago we would were amazed it could drive you to next city Without intervention. Thank You Tesla!

So you can try this (don't know how well it works yet), I have been trying to get the CT to pull into my garage spot for me - can't seem to get it to recognize it as a spot, however, during researching this, people said you can go to your desired location, then open up google and find the exact coordinates for that position. Delete your home address and put in the coordinates instead and save that as your home. Worth a shot. Teslas maps don't let you zoom in as much as google and if you put in an exact gps coordinates it should work - in theory.

for a long time it wouldn't find my drive, now it turns up my drive way but wants to park in the back of my shop. I want it park in my shop where I have my charger. Thanks for the idea of deleting home location and redoing its location. will give it a shot. I might add a week or so ago, it actually pulled up the the shop door, the door opened automatically and then pulled in and parked. I was in heaven and also amazed. But it only did it once. I want that feeling back again. And yes this is amazing that we are talking about FSD and the capabilities. Thanks for everyones input!

They must be testing a new feature set with parking, because it's acting very "beta software" lol.

It's been regularly pulling into my driveway head-first, albeit not ideally positioned. Out of the blue, it tried to back in, which I have never ever done myself. Why??!?

Hey, Mister "all input is error" Musk, I'd like a little input on this plz kthx

I don't know what happened but i deleted my work location yesterday and entered it again while i was parked in my spot. Today on my way to work it routed to the back parking lot and parked really close to my parking spot. Not sure if entering it while i was there did this but it is much better than it was, just wish i could pick the exact parking spot
