Have any of you owned both AWD and beast that can compare the cost of insurance? I know there was an almost $200 a month difference in our State Farm policy going from a model x plaid to a long range. That is a lot of money over the ownership life of the car in my opinion.

There is a large variation for Beast depending how you drive if you have the Drive Safe and Save monitor...

I’m just saying that is something to consider. May actually be worth calling your insurance company to find out.

No criticism here, just a data point that Beast insurance can fluctuate.
Actually, just rechecked and realized the number in my head was the 6 month discount. With multiple policies in MI, no tickets, it's $150/ month for Beast (no safe driving credit).

Wow. That is WAY cheaper than Arizona and my wife and I both have squeaky clean driving records.
