I'm with you. I have heated and cooled vegan leather in my M3P but cloth/heated in my F150. To me the textile seats look good and as long as I have heated with cloth, I'm fine.

As for my delivery date, still says 2027, up from Sep-Oct 2026 when I ordered on 2/25. Not crazy about it, but not in a rush with the PCS issues. Hopefully fully sorted by then.
Textiles are softer too. One of the reasons why I like the OG Model Y instead of the refresh even though the new one has ventilated seats. The seats in the old Model Y is like sitting on a plush couch.

Agree there. My wife's '23 M3 RWD has some of the softest seats, like the OG MY. We're selling that when the CT arrives and she'll get the '24 M3P. The only thing she likes better in her car than mine is the seats. She thinks the performance seats are not soft enough.

I'm keeping my eye out for a nearby CT RWD for sale to see if I can get some seat time (pun intended).

I have one pre-ordered it was very hard to pass up the price. Over the weekend I sat inside a base model Y with the textile seats and the stripped down interior and I did not love it. This had me concerned about the base cyber truck.

I ended up finding a 2025 premium cyber truck with paid for full self driving this morning on CarMax and reserved it. It has a little under 20,000 miles for $76,000. It's definitely a jump in price but for me I think it's worth it. If you haven't sat in a base model Y you should probably do so to get a feel for it. I think the price is a great value but I plan on keeping this truck for at least a couple years so I want to be happy with it day to day. Even if they offer us an upgrade to a premium for $10,000 I don't think I will be all that mad. I really just want auto pilot and I hate subscriptions so paying $99 a month just sucks.

Congrats. I contemplated the same thing with a 25, but at the end of the day I like the price of the 59k truck and recently announced all 26's now come with 7yr/70k mile warranties.
Cybertruck is excluded from the 7yr/70k mile warranty.

I wish you were right about the warranty but unfortunately you are not. A quick search will provide the info about cybertruck being excluded.
I literally linked to the Tesla documentation confirming the new/extended 7yr/70K mi warranty for additional propulsion related parts, specifically for the Cybertruck.

But you want me to do a 'quick search'? What game are we playing here? :ROFLMAO:

Why would you trust an Autoblog article when I've linked you to actual legally-binding documentation, straight from Tesla's own website.
Key Cybertruck Warranty Details (As of April 2026):
  • Battery & Drive Unit: 8 years or 150,000 miles (whichever comes first), with minimum 70% battery retention.
  • Basic Vehicle: 4 years or 50,000 miles.
  • Supplemental Restraint System: 5 years or 60,000 miles.
  • Exclusion: The new 7-year/70,000-mile powertrain/propulsion warranty for 2026 models applies only to Model S, 3, X, and Y.

I dunno where you got that from (AI??), or what Autoblog article you read/believe... but Tesla says otherwise.

But since we've been back and forth on this a few times, there can be only one conclusion:

Your 2026 Cybertruck is excluded from the new/improved High-Priced Propulsion-Related Parts ZEV Limited Warranty, but everyone else who bought a 2026 Cybertruck is covered.

If you're happy, that's all that matters. Make sure fsd in included as some here say fsd cancels if it goes thru dealer hands. the parallel between base Y vs base CT in not accurate.

A base model y is decidedly low rent and rental car feeling. VS premium, it has no seat control buttons, no moon roof, no ambient lighting, different dash materials, cloth doors, many cheap plastic trim pieces, different center console, smaller main display, and on and on.

CT AWD visually is indistinguishable from premium save the textile seats and a missing 9 inch rear video screen. You get the moon roof, the same premium door panels, same ambient lighting, same dash, same main display, same center console. And some prefer the cloth pillars because it provides a more uniform look vs the Alcantara grained look. That's purely subjective.

I personally would not touch a used cybertruck with a 10 foot pole because, as evidenced here and elsewhere, some people work the shit out of them and you can't know the history. It feels like a disproportionate number of owners take these things off roading, camping, sand dunes, trails, rock crawling ect.
fsd transfers fine. I've bought two used teslas with Fsd and no issues transferring. If you trade to Tesla it will get stripped off but not third party.
