Beast Free supercharging in lieu of Light bar ?

I just talked to Tesla, I have a beast and who knows when if ever i'll get the light bar. Being they are nearly $3000 for the light bar and install, I asked if I could just get the free supercharging instead.... she asked "someone" but they said no. BUT maybe if LOTS of us ask (via phone, then you will get a follow up email for comments). Maybe we can get that as an option. Saves Tesla a lot of headache seems like and probably some $ depending on how much someone supercharges. The last FS had free supercharging for life for truck and first owner only, this seems like a fair trade to me.... you?

I'd be tempted to trade the light bar, powershare, and $4k installation credit.
Doubt Tesla will do that though...

I'd take the supercharging, considering the light bar doesn't have a cover and isn't legal unless I keep it taped up 99% of the time anyway.

On a side note, yesterday I received confirmation my aero covers just arrived. I was a May delivery. Who knows when the light bar will be here.

I got my Beast Sept 28 2024, and they installed the Offroad light bar Dec 28, if that gives you any idea of how long it takes to get one.

I should point out also that I scheduled the truck for service and they added the lightbar to the service appointment. Maybe scheduling service helped? Who knows?

After seeing this post, I decided to finally call them to talk about the powershare credit. I got a beast before 5/23, but was ineligible for powershare, so I got 1 year free SC and $1100 voucher, much short of the $6500 worth of powershare equipment and install credit I was expecting. So I complained about that for awhile and got nowhere. So then I asked when I would get my light bar and she said “they’ll be delivered in 2025.” So I said, how about just give me lifetime supercharging instead since I’ve gotten screwed on the other stuff? She of course said no, so I told her to please relay my feedback that they should do that and she said she will :-/

I'd probably take that if they offered; AFAIK there's still no proper cover available for the Tesla light bar.

August 27th delivery. I am having my lightbar installed today! I contacted the SC and they supposedly have it in stock and it is ready for install. Stay tuned for update later today.

Maybe we all need to carry a roll of black gaffing tape to cover the light bars? It may be less expensive than having a cover 3D printed!
