No, it’s definitely the off gassing quarks.
joking aside about off gassing quarks, whatever's in the sub trunk (not sure if it's the dividers or some material intrinsic to the sub trunk like the well or part of the lid or what) is still off gassing to high hell on mine, a few months after delivery. it really stinks.

My '17 Ridgeline did the same thing for a LONG time. It was a while ago, so I think it might have been a year before the smell dissapated.

I leave mine open when possible to let it air out.

My garage smells like a model airplane glue convention. I leave mine open as well. Maybe some vinegar next week.

Had this window screen made at https://www.metroscreenworks.com/ for ventilating the bed. 58.5" x 12". Came out great.
Very nice job. I notice on the website it asks for material, color, etc. Can you please share more about your order details. I've been wanting to do something like this since I got the truck. Also, does it fit right into the tonneau tracks?

Indeed it fits into the tonneau tracks. Chose a black frame, the thinnest width for the frame (5/16 if I recall correctly) and the mesh that had the best visibility (it had a 20% price premium I think).

For the unexpected in-law visits. Gotta make an impression. 🤔
This is EXACTLY why I want the Cyberlandr to come true. I can roll up to our sons and their families and bring my own digs. I'll be outside in the driveway...starlinked and chillaxing. Text me when I can come in!

Unfortunately the site wanted almost $60 shipping which brings total cost approaching $180.
I went to windowscreenz.com and was able to order something similar for $83 free shipping. I'll reply to this thread if it doesn't work out as well. Then I know it would be worth the money to go your route. Super thankful for the info
