Had a light bar install setup for 10.16 so in the morning, and they just messaged me saying Tesla put a hold on installs.

I had mine installed Sept 25th. So far it has survived automatic car washes. Can’t wait to see what the hold on installs is this time. Maybe they will discontinue it and offer free supercharging instead like I had hoped they would. Another chance to ball kick early adopters.

I had mine installed and repaired. On the repair, they hooked up the electrical connections I hadn’t bothered to connect. They re-used the same lightbar which I was certain of as I had never taken the black tape off and it had bug debris all over it. Still holding so far…

Thanks for alerting us to this latest hold action. I recently had mine installed and will hope for the best and any solution if it is needed or offered.

Are you in South Florida? I had mine installed about 5 weeks ago at the FLL sc. They were doing two more the week in which mine were done.

How did they do with levelness side to side? Mine is a few millimeters higher on the passengers side where the power cable comes off than the drivers side.

Yes, mine is ever so slightly higher on that side, but not really noticeable.

Touch or touch less? I just had mine installed 2 weeks ago and finally had the courage to run it through a touch less.. but I gotta have that touch.. to get rid of the bugs up front.

Touch. I have a monthly subscription. I've probably been through this premium car wash about 60 times now over the past year. No rail on the ground, just a conveyor system, but yes, touch.
