Just took delivery in Austin and driving it back to SoCal (I’ll do my delivery experience and first impressions post soon.)

TONS of bugs enroute. Want to wash it really quick before I get home today and show the rest of the fam.

I know the advice about washing with mild soap and water, and the windex and alcohol. But I’m wondering: can I use something like Bug Be Gone? Spray it on there and then wash it with a truck brush at one of those wash-it-yourself washes? What do y’all think?

ALSO, what are y’all using to clean and condition the vegan leather?

Bugs love the Cybertruck. I get them even sitting still. I messed up my protectaclear coating because bugs kept landing in it and dying. My coating is horrible because I tried to wipe them off so I have a very messy coat of protectaclear everywhere.

unscented baby wipes on the "leather" a.k.a. vinyl dont use anything other then that

for the bugs and fingerprints use Optical No Wash (ONR) and water (2 caps in a bottle of water) and spray and wipe with microfiber cloth, i did this every day of my 5 day drip home and it works great.,

I use Super Cleaner from The Car Guys on my Tesla interiors and it does a nice job of keeping them looking good...

I've had luck with first water blasting them with a hose as best you can, then taking a car washing glove and using Liquid X car shampoo to just wipe them off. Rinse with the hose then dry with a microfiber towel.
