No, you can only chose Speed Profiles (Sloth, Chill, Standard, Hurry, and MadMax). Each has it's own speed offset, which are not consitent and seem to change with software updates.

I'd say this is one of the most requested features of FSD. I'd love to have user selected offsets for each speed profile AND have FSD lock into those speeds, unless traffic dictates it needs to slow down. One thing I miss from old school cruise control is a set speed.

Can someone explain what these options do?

I agree this is silly that the truck decideds the speeds based on how it wants

Basically scaled driving behavior with slight change to max speed

I think that sums it up!

On my HW4 M3P, on my latest version, 14.2.2.5, Chill stays around the speed limit, Standard is around 5-7 over (the speed I normally like to drive, but not the mode), Hurry (which I like how it drives) is around 5-12 over, and MaxMax is "you better have a lawyer on retainer", or up to 85mph.

If I could customize Hurry to 7 over the posted speed limit, that would be ideal for me for where I live.

Last time turned off FSD they worked. With FSD on they don't.

I could be the only Tesla owner that thinks this way, but for me, the FSD14 speed profile array is a super big fail from FSD13. Regardless of what is said by Tesla and its influencers, we do not have autonomous driving with FSD, and if this system is the best they’ve got, we’re no where close to autonomy. I don’t even want full autonomy- I do know how to drive - but I do want the driver assist functions.

FSD13 was an amazing ’driver assist system’ and Tesla still legally calls FSD14 ‘driver assist’ . FSD14 has some definitive driving improvements but it’s nowhere near safe enough for autonomy. The biggest problem I have is speed management. The AI simply cannot make good enough speed judgements for me on roads that do not have a lot of traffic. I drive mostly rural roads and neighborhood streets and it’s speed management is absolutely terrible- too slow, too fast, wrong speed limits for sections of many roads and no precise way to adjust it. FSD14 is very nice on a crowded highway, and also if you really need your vehicle to park for you, (although it usually parks foolishly and painfully slowly so 9f rather do it myself).

And weirdly, whenever I saw a speed trap, FSD14 would speed up, requiring a disengage. This doesn’t happen on crowded highways where it ‘follows the flow’, but it does happen frequently on rural roads and neighborhood streets with no traffic for it to follow.

Regardless of the stunning number of FSD lawsuits, seeing the way most idiots drive, I suspect FSD14 really is safer than the average driver. But I’m not that error tolerant.

And I’m not being nostalgic about FSD13- I am using FSD13 that came loaded on my 2026 CT. My 2024 CT that I traded had the latest FSD14. I love FSD13 and I love driving my truck again.

I hated FSD14 as it took away the joy from using FSD. Tesla took a near perfect dream driver assist system of FSD13 and turned it unusable for me.

I understand the driver profile system is all about getting millions of miles to achieve full autonomy and support their robotaxi division. But I didn’t buy that and I resent being an unwilling guinea pig. And btw, I would NEVER put my personal vehicle in a ‘fleet taxi status’ when I’m not using it. That’s one of the dumbest woke ideas I’ve ever heard from Tesla. I suspect it’s because all the decision makers live in Austin and the San Francisco Bay Area and have lost touch with the rest of America.

I think FSD14 stole the best feature FSD had which was easy speed correction with the scroll wheel coupled with the ability to independently choose assertiveness levels. I’m delighted to have FSD13 back and will keep it as long as I can.

I am hoping that the scroll wheel speed correction gets added back into a future FSD update, maybe as a separate profile that switches back to ‘driver assist’ or a ‘driver max’ profile in addition to the stupid names like ‘sloth’ and ‘mad max’ given to its current profiles. For me, all the cute little E2E functions of FSD14 do not come close to making up for the terrible and nerve wracking failure of speed management with the driver profile system, or loss of the ability for the driver to correct an unsafe speed without disengaging FSD.

My hope for return of driver speed control is probably in vain since Tesla is so stubborn and arrogant and refuses to listen to its actual owners- I’d send this to a Tesla but their ‘customer feedback’ page does not actually take customer feedback.

This is just the opinion of a multiple serial Tesla owner with a safe driving record and I am an early adopter of EVs. But what do I know? I could be the only Tesla owner that thinks this way.

These settings configure a speed at which you will get a warning, if YOU are driving. This has nothing to to with FSD.

There seems to be tons of confusion about this.

enable Parental Controls with speed limit. Tradeoff is enforced chill mode for acceleration.

Does your guys Cybertruck while on FSD turn on the turn signal for along time and doesn't even perform the lane change?
