Hope there wasn't damage to the rear of your truck when it was flapping in the wind.
For those wondering about parts availability, same in the Boston area. It was not in-stock for at least a month. Then, in early June it was available but when I brought my truck in, they said I already had the updated cantrails.
They replaced mine back in February when I asked for the slight misalignment at the rear to be fixed (vehicle was built Nov 15, 2024 and I took delivery in December). I still periodically monitor the leading edge just to make sure they aren't getting loose.
Irony, that I had the driver side cantrail "repaired" already. When picking it my buddy noticed the cantrail wasn't flush with the side hood panel. After waiting for a two week service appoinment, and feeling like was being treated like a overparticular tool, then find out it may have been a sign of a worse problem.
I asked my service center about it as I took my CT in to have the top glass replaced (someone "gifted" me a rock . They told me Tesla FIRST, prioritizes the vehicles coming out of the factory and the ones in their unsold inventory. Second priority are vehicles that the cantrail actually is coming off or came off and lastly, Last priority are the customers vehicles that have no apparent problem. So much for trying to get "it all done" on one service visit!
