Cantrail Recall Done

Well I have had my Cantrail Recall replacement serviced here in London Ontario Canada. A brand new service centre.

They just got the parts and replaced the Cantrails. They look the same and fit fine. (2 bolts holding it on not just glue and clip)

It took them 3-4hrs as this was the second truck done. Service centre was great, just had to adjust a price of weather strip at wipers they missed, but it was easy enough.

Just got my notice in the mail yesterday. No app side notifications. It was just like other cars I’ve had with old school paper and envelope.

OP, all of the problems that we know about are at the exact opposite end of where you took your photo. Can you please show us what it looks like there? Because that’s where the cigarette burn is and all of the misalignment that we’ve seen has been.

Wait so the remedy is out? I've thought the whole time anyone going in for the recall was just getting a reglue of the same old part. My driver side is coming up a bit and have been waiting to make a SC appointment. Do I need to wait to get something in the mail or can I just hit them up in the app? Got a few other things I need fixed as well so trying to get it all done at once.

I got an email for the recall then had an appointment 2 days later. Tesla set up the service call for me. I was in talks with them before this and the manager must of liked me and made sure to get me taken cared of.

Pictures of the front of cantrail would be appreciated! Looking for where the nut joins the bolt

My recall was done almost 2 weeks ago when I got my light bar, no cigarette burn. You can see the bolt location if you really look very hard, but it's unnoticeable in passing, and looks good overall. The back where the cant rail meets the bed i have some bad alignment on one side, I will ask for an adjustment when I go back in for something else. Overall, I was really happy with it.

One other thing for early buyers, I have an April 2024 build for example. They have revised the wiper since that time, they agreed to give me the new wiper. It is exponentially better than the original version, I highly recommend adding the wiper to your service ticket.

Is this going to affect all trucks? I took delivery in September. I’d hate to have to pay to rewrap & my cantrails look fine.

Does anyone know if I will have to rewrap my whole truck after this repair is done? Or will my wrap guy be able to just wrap that certain section?
