I don’t know much, but I know when I first got my 2021 ModelY it worked a lot better then it does today… same car, same phone… many OTA updates from both Apple and Tesla ??

Wife's MB wireless charger is useless. Hopefully a software update fixes this - either from apple or from Tesla!

I am new to Tesla vehicles, I had a RAM 1500 Laramie previously. The wireless charging in my RAM was hit or miss with my Pixel 6 Pro and did not keep up with my usage in my truck. What I mean by that is I used Android Auto Wireless, Phone Bluetooth, UConnect, Google Maps, and Spotify all while driving. Now that I have my CT, I am not using Android Auto, UConnect, Google Maps or Spotify from my phone. All of those capabilities are built into the CT using Premium communications. I believe my phone is simply being used for Handsfree Bluetooth and as a Key for the CT. What is odd is my phone is pretty warm and on a long drive, I find it actually loses a 1% to 2%. I am not on my phone during most of those drives because my wife is with me. I do see the charging icon, so I know it is working. I am at a loss why I would not be fully charging. Even in my RAM occassionally if I was not on the phone, it would fully charge my phone despite the navigation and spotify. On a completely different note, my wife has the same exact phone and hers won't charge but for a few seconds in the driver's or passenger's side. Both of our phones use wireless charging at night on our night stands and during the day on our office desks with no issues.

Any ideas what could be going on?
Do you have the phone in a case? If so have you tried charging it without the case? Also do you and your wife have the same cases? In the model Y the wireless charging efficiency of my Pixel 7 Pro varies depending on the case. It charges faster and stays cooler without a case. For fastest charging you can just put the phone face down in the charging spot and connect a USB C cable. As with any lithium battery, life will approximately double if you limit charging to 80%.

Appreciate the response - I am aware all vehicles have windshields. It is well known that Cybertruck allows in more heat than a normal vehicle due to the size of the front windshield. Wondering if this is a factor, because other Tesla vehicles have the wireless charging below the screen out of direct sunlight and they do not suffer the same issue.
I don't believe that it is "well known"

And again, when driving the climate control is on. And if the windshield was "that" bad, it would be uncomfortable to sit in.
