If Elon makes us a mid size truck, it would be a very nice news for « out of north america market »
i don’t think that Tesla would make 2 differents cybertruck size before many years, so if they want to be « international » they need a more « ford ranger size » i think
hope we‘ll have a final version keynote soon !

a 6-foot+ bed to me is mandatory....for camping
the clearest thing I’ve learned the last few days of forum conversation:

the world is now full of car “campers”

does nobody backpack in/out with a tent anymore?!

I once lived/camped in the back of a Tacoma for 3 months out in the Mojave desert. Y’all can have that mess :)

Maybe like this? But on the EV platform. I can hardly imagine the amazing amount of work that could be done by a little truck like this if it was built using gigacastings, Tesla EV motors and batteries, SS body... And they say EVs wont be useful in remote poor regions. Get a solar installation with a stationary battery charging station and a few of these little trucks with various configurations to work with. That could be an awesome setup. But I also am a big fan of mini trucks.

Tesla Cybertruck Confirmed Cybertruck specs: 5% smaller, 6x4 bed size, 5 seats, frunk, no pass through & more... (info from Tesla employee at Investor Day) 1677878061903

To me, I love video games! I wish the the middle seat was there just to be straight on in the screen while charging so I can play GTA or Cyberpunk or Rocket League…. and to escape the kids for a half hour. Lol

now I’ll have to turn my head to the side, darn!

i guess I’ll get $100 back

well, I want to see someone clean the windshield from the inside....looks like it about 4 feet and I dont have long arms.....I am just afraid there is going to be many thing that just don't add up to $80-85k....
I got you fam.

If that doesn't work I guess you'll have to just cancel that order ?

Also, did you just poof those numbers into existence?
Long time ago, after realizing the inside of the windshield is going to be a bitch to clean, and I hate cleaning that on a regular vehicle, I did some looking around. Not sure If I had already shared this on this forum, but I got this and really like it. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but it works well and will be a godsend when I get my CT.

tl;dr Cleaning pad on the inside is held in place by magnets with a cleaning pad on the outside. As you move the outside pad, the inside pad follows.

Short answer - yes.

Long answer - It took some playing around to get used to it. You need to pay attention to what’s on the inside. For example, if you run the outside pad over the spot opposite where the rear view mirror is attached, the inside hits the mirror, magnet seal breaks, inside pad falls face down onto your dirty floor. Replace cloth because the magnets are strong, and any grain of sand will surely scratch the glass. There’s a bit of an art to finding the right amount of glass cleaner to use. Too little and the inner pad chatters as it moves. Too much and, well you’re all wet. Also, you’ll inevidibly forget it’s a strong magnet and get it stuck to your car. Probably won’t be an issue with the CT though.

There’s a few YouTube videos of people demonstrating it.

I also learned there are better window cleaners than Windex. I found “Invisible Glass” to work really well.

I'm not stepping out of line. But a 6 foot bed? Ugh! What's next truck nutz?

RE: 5 VS 6 seats. Disappointed the center console is massive / non-folding.
6 seater is a big draw card, will be very disappointed if it’s not an option

Also holding out hope for a Ford style working frunk bay.
Look at the shut lines, I’m almost certain it’s going to open just like the F-150 Lightning. I would hazard a guess the load floor will easily move, and next to the front bumper camera there appears to be a removable cover for a winch fairlead.

My city is filled with people that drive around with rooftop tents. I had no idea so many people camped.
