I’m enjoying this! Did 2400 miles in 10 days. Drove nonstop from Tampa to NJ with breaks at Superchargers. Steering is awesome, got used to it pretty fast.

I was a bit apprehensive about the wheel before delivery, too, but quickly got used to it. It's just so natural now with SBW. My other car (MINI Cooper S) was in the body shop the first month I had my CT. It was shocking how different the MINI felt when I picked it up. The MINI wheel feels huge now and requires so much more input than I'm used to turn. It almost feels like driving a boat compared to the CT, something I never would have thought possible with a MINI ...

It is by far the best steering wheel I’ve ever used. Phenomenal actually. I’ve got a Model X loaner right now that they gave me while they fix the water intrusion in tonneau cover thing, and I can’t stand the yoke, yoke is the worst steering wheel ever. I need my truck back.

Current Cybertruck owners can you tell us what you think about the steering wheel? Specifically the shape of the wheel. Did it take time to adjust to the shape? Love it or hate it?

It's like no other steering wheel on the market so want to know what your thoughts are?

Thanks!

I love the steering wheel, very comfortable at all positions.
Did not take anytime at all to adapt to it.
Very well thought out.

I don’t like the fact that I can’t use my knee to steer

Mostly harmless.

Doesn't add any value but you get used to it soon enough so it's fine.

I love the wheel. I got used to the turn signal button’s for Turning pretty quick, what I can’t seem to remember, is when I want to change songs, I also click the turn signals.

I like it so much I’m not sure I can ever buy a vehicle without it…. Guess it’s Cybertrucks only until they use it on other vehicles.

I like the Squirkle . I can adjust he steering height and the seat so I can rest my thumb in the lower left quadrant of the squirkle and my forearm on my knee. I can access the turn signals and volume and If the lighting is bad and the FSD wants me to wiggle the steering, I'm right there.

What I don't like is getting in my Buick. So many knobs and levers and switches, and I have to steer all the time.

How was the drive from Tampa to NJ. Going down to Tampa soon (from NJ) and was thinking of Cybertrucking it. Any long waits at chargers or issues?

Who uses the Squircle any more?

The steering wheel is absolutely perfect EXCEPT

It’s way too hard. It needs to have a bit more cushion built in. It’s hard as a rock and hurts my palms at times.

I would pay for a softer more cushions alcantara or perforated leather version like on my bmw ///M

I love the wheel shape. I love the turn signal buttons. Not a fan of the long-hold high-beam button. Not a fan of the press-the-scroll-wheel-to-activate-FSD function. Otherwise the wheel and buttons are fine.
