So Tesla service previously told me they can’t do anything and can’t figure it out. I sent back my old vault divider and they automatically sent me out one of the new ones with the plastic circles half removed.
Still didn’t fit.
You can see that the cover was higher on both the left and right sides when installed and warped so badly I removed it to check out how bad the warp was.
Well it’s bad. Over half an inch on left side which is causing the issue. Can’t crank down the bolts anymore. The entire piece is just heavy duty plastic.
the warping causes both the left and right side to be higher but ironically the middle is even with the rest of the vault.
sent in a service request to replace it but we shall see.
