There were a slew of Porsches from 911 to Boxster to Cayman to Taycan to one Cayenne. There were 2 other non-Porsches, a Mini Cooper and some other dedicated tube frame custom built job. There were both turbo and non-turbo 911's, there were a couple of GT cars, it was a real mix. I could ask the autocross steward for a listing I suppose if you want that level of detail but I don't know if they will provide or not.
Thanks, no, I don't need that level of detail.

How did the other drivers react to the times you posted in such a big vehicle with all-terrain tires competing with such light, sporty cars with sport rubber on?

And what cold tire pressures did you run in those AT's? I'm guessing 50-54 psi?

I think most of the Porsche drivers were fine with it and several of them saw me instructing so they know I contribute to the club, or may have seen me with my GT4 at events in the past. I got a ton of questions about how far does it go on a charge, how long does it take to charge, etc. etc. and of course comments about looking like a refrigerator. :) If you listen to the video captured by Rudy the PCA autocross head steward that I added at the end you can hear other spectators cheering as I got through the final turn and across the finish line. Now if I kept bringing it out and kept turning better times they might start to get peeved but no I think everyone there had fun with it, if anyone had an issue I didn't hear it voiced.

I let Rudy drive it around the course for a warm up lap and he kind of freaked out when he first when to turn and wasn't expecting how responsive the beast would be with drive by wire and rear wheel steering. He was expecting it to handle like his truck, and it really doesn't.

As for Tire Pressures they were at 50 or 51 cold, I tried to run the Beast as close to stock as I could, place it in Beast mode, don't do a Beast launch because honestly not enough room to make it worth it from the start line to the first corner, and just drive the thing and see what happens. It was a hoot and gives me a good feel now for what it is and isn't capable of.

I have tried to pass the story on to various news outlets to publish something positive about the Cybertruck but sadly they only seem interested in stories about Cybertruck failures, not successes. I even reached out the guy who did the engineering calculations for the Cybertruck towing a Porsche vs. a Porsche story to demonstrate that maybe a drag race with a trailer isn't the whole story and why don't we compare how the Beast does against cars that weigh half as much and have a reputation for being a sports car (Porsche) and what does the engineering say about that. Crickets thus far, then again it is a holiday weekend so I remain hopeful that someone will pick it up and Cybertruck will get some well deserved positive press. If I knew how to Tweet (X?) Elon and get his attention on it, I would do so.

Btw still crickets... maybe I should have lit it on fire while doing an autocross event.
Sure, an EV fire would have got the media's attention. If you are going to light your Cybertruck on fire, in order to attract the media like moths to a flame, make sure the source of the fire is a gas leak from a car parked next to it. It can be a throw-away car like a Mini-Cooper or the like. :ROFLMAO:

After the media speculates that the Cybertruck's battery couldn't handle the extreme stresses racing put on it, and it sadly took a Mini-Cooper with it, you can show them the initial photos taken of the spilled gasoline, right after it ignited.

The fact that the media didn't want to write an article about a Cybertruck placing well in an autocross event with much sportier and more exotic gas cars, shows that it's not about clicks, it's about throwing shade on EVs and extending the age of ICE.

The Cybertruck does so many things, so well, it's a breakthrough vehicle. You can drive it straight off the autocross course, into the mountains and go off-roading on rugged terrain without so much as changing the tires, and it will compare well there too. Then you can pick up a load of sheetrock and finish your remodel job before taking some clients out to a nice dinner. No other vehicle can come close to this kind of broad competency and versatility.

100% agree! It is an extremely versatile vehicle, I was just naming all the things I've done with it during the first 3 weeks of ownership to my co-workers and they were astonished.

In fact I'm headed out the door for another photo shoot with some models that want to do a futuristic photo shoot. Will post pics later.

And Wes, from Tesla, posted it on X.

Very Nice! :)
I don't know Wes, but evidently I'm going to have some competition at autocross if they've run thousands of laps. :)
