Picked up a ZTR mower on Memorial Day sale. More utility than a Cyberquad. Drove it home like this (tailgate down) and energy usage was 339 Wh/mi over about 30 miles around 55mph.

I love my Zero Turn Ryobi. FYI those blades dont like anything that is not grass. I ended up bending a blade when I was mowing a rough patch that had a few limbs hidden under the leaves. Other than that its been unplug and go.

Wow awesome!!!
Love that Ryobi Zero turn - what’s the largest practical lawn you can do without battery change?

Nice mower! Did you consider the ones that drive themselves (roboticmowers).

Not OP - but I owned one YEARS AGO - made in Israel - same design as todays - great, quiet - but only works for smaller lawns.

Someone who needs a one like this Ryobi prob has a lawn too big for a Robomower (currently)

they make bigger ones now but they are probably the same price as his rider.

True - prob better batteries now - but even double battery (for me personally) would not have been enough.

Also - guide wire issues (had to bury around entire property).

But overall, once perfected - an AMAZING solution (can mow at night due to quietness, damp rain capable, blades give better cut due to electric drive, zero emissions).

Emission point is big because lawnmowers are VERY BAD for environment - no emissions control on a mower!
