The Tesla service guy told me. Do you think he is wrong?

Maybe. I haven’t seen it published anywhere so was curious. The Tesla service guy told me. Do you think he is wrong?
Chat GPT is wrong because it didn't take into account the back-pressure created by trying to move air quickly through one Schrader valve. Tire valves were developed for the much smaller tires in use in the 1800's and are woefully undersized for fast filling of large tires we have available today. In other words, they don't flow much air at reasonable pressures. That's why off-roaders adopted the 4-way filling hoses, so all 4 tire valves could be open and filling (or deflating) at the same time.I don't know enough about this to comment on it intelligently but I do know for certain that you can't take the stated flow rate and just divide it out. The stated flow rate is usually at 0 PSI. So you can't really calculate the CT compressor flow rate based on Rednave's video. Easy enough for someone who has the TC BL pump to replicate though. @HaulingAss ????
You cannot state a flow rate without specifying at what pressure that flow rate applies. When you fill a tire the pressure in the inflation hose will be considerably higher than the pressure in the tire due to the constriction of the Schrader valve. And then, as the tire pressure increases, so will the pressure in the inflation hose. The Tesla service guy told me. Do you think he is wrong?
The circuit breakers are software controlled. While I don't know the specifics, common sense says they allow inrush current without tripping. So I guess they would be considered slow-blow. But if the initial current is high enough, they probably trip almost instantly, quicker than a physical fuse would blow. Just a guess, but I've never heard of a Tesla having nuisance tripping. If it trips, it was probably a very good thing.Right, and while it's pretty cool, makes you wonder what the side-effects are. For example, do they they trip as fast-acting, or as time-delay equivalents ?
I don't know what the acronym "IRL" stands for, but I assume you are talking about inflation times. No, I only mention Rednave’s post to show that IRL is very close to the calculations based on 0 to 50 psi solely with respect to the CT all terrain tire size at the stated flow rates for each compressor: 25 lpm v 125 lpm.
Agree with everything you said. I was implying that you have the TC BL compressor and could do an apples to apples test from 12 PSI to 50 PSI to compare with Rednave's video.I don't know what the acronym "IRL" stands for, but I assume you are talking about inflation times.
It's entirely possible for a flow rate at a given pressure to calculate out to the actual time to fill a tire of a specified volume to 50 psi. But that would just be a coincidence since the flow rate changes with pressure.
Yeah. It's out of stock already. Finally! Thanks for the heads up, ordered before they go out of stock in 17 minutes.
Just did my first real world test on the Fanttik X9 Ultra. That looks like a nice unit. Have a smaller Fanttik in the Model X, works well.
Just did my first real world test on the Fanttik X9 Ultra.
Dropped the pressure down to 42 on my all-terrain tires and it took one minute and 20 seconds to get it back to 50 psi
Before I tried it on the cybertruck, I topped off a model Y all four tires.
I still had 3/4 of the battery, however I never charged it upon receipt so I’m guessing it wasn’t absolutely at 100% although it showed that it was full. Recharging now. I’ll have to see how it does on a full charge and without using it on another vehicle, but I’m guessing it would have no problem filling up all four tires.
If you’re looking for something with a very obvious handle. Much more convenient that can be charged using the AC adapter via a USB-C cable and 65 W charging block.
I still think the Fanntik x9 Ultra is both better and a better value.

Thanks for the info. Try 12-50 like Renave. When I get my CT inflator I’ll try to do 2 tires at the same time 12-50. I have the indeflate dual.Just to add some context…
