2) You can see the dashboard and window reflection in the dashcam.
- This isn't the built in camera.
- Why does the CT have a 2nd dashcam?
- Its like they used their own camera gear to be able to get the video
I have a camera mounted where the rear view mirror was. NEVER enough video angles.

very stupid thing to do with your own car let alone a rented $100,000 car. if this is real he will be paying for all damages all for a box of tissue paper nice one! The thief probably has a case against him that was use of deadly force. or Attempted Man Slauter.
Next to impossible to prove that in court without direct evidence of him saying "I'm going to try and kill him by ramming him!".

Agreed. If it were me, I would just follow that car really close and activate the dashcam to record his license plate. I love my truck too much to intentionally crash it.
License plate won't do much in criminal court. You can find who it's registered to, but if there's 3 or 5 adults at that address, they all plead the 5th, government has to prove who the driver and thief were. Also, good chance it's stolen/has stolen plates on it.

Speaking as an expert YouTube video watcher it appears feasible that the CT would have been successful in merely impeding the suspect motor vehicle's progression without deleterious consequence had the later not become abruptly contiguous with a stationary Spermatophyta of unknown genus resulting with the rear of said conveyance deviating from it's assumed intended trajectory remaining at a relative trailing position from the expected forward movement in a controlled manner progressing upon the thoroughfare to an unknown destination.
This hypothesis undoubtedly leaves considerable speculation what outcome would have been effected had the CT been victorious in a blocking maneuver as well as substantial conjecture remaining in regards to the motives of parties involved.

I would proffer SUS.

No chance of that happening to my truck...because renting it out on Turo will NEVER happen. Because people suck.

Unless it was a box of Patek Philippe watches, that's a $30,000 repair for the CyberTruck over disposable merchandise. Would be interested to know what was in the box to justify the pursuit and subsequent CyberWreck.

A lot of criminals don't use their plates, and may have stolen the car. I have been hit by illegal immigrants without license or a vehicle registered to them. They bought it cash and we are all none the wiser.

Bottom line, it sucks they wrecked someone else's truck but the fact they pressured the criminals (which mail theft, including UPS/Fedex/Amazon is a Federal crime btw) and knowing they couldn't really escape... ultimate satisfaction to watch.

Not my Cybertruck thankfully, but saw this posted by another owner ?

About to find out how good TURO’s insurance is…
Yesterday my renter saw a porch pirate running to car with his box, accelerated and crashed into said porch pirate making a sandwich with the burglar’s car and a tree.

Videos of the chase and crash:

Looks to me like the ct had committed to going around a parked/stopped car on the road and in that same split second the car pulled out/fleeing the crime, hitting the tree and causing the accident

Ah, man. I read the whole thing and my brain hurts. But I don't regret it.
