if you use a vehicle like this against an officer of the law that's automatic attempted man slaughter it don't matter if he only wanted to stop him, with cops they don't need to prove his intentions in fact he might not even make it to court alive and they will open fire. a vehicle is considered a deadly weapon. let's say the thief was killed in the crash he didn't put his seatbelt on and flies through the windshield and hits the tree headfirst and dies on the scene. certainly, he would be facing man slaughter charges then. people cannot go around trying to stop someone from getting away in a car with a car it puts inocent poepole a risk. that's why we have these laws a car is a deadly weapon when you use that weapon thats enough to show intent.Next to impossible to prove that in court without direct evidence of him saying "I'm going to try and kill him by ramming him!".ARMANDO PADILLA said:
very stupid thing to do with your own car let alone a rented $100,000 car. if this is real he will be paying for all damages all for a box of tissue paper nice one! The thief probably has a case against him that was use of deadly force. or Attempted Man Slauter.
