Sharing this in case people find helpful. Picking up Cybertruck on Thursday and started to look into insurances. Currently have a model 3 on tesla insurance.

Quotes I got for both cars:
(I have a clean record and no accidents, same coverages for all)

Virginia Farm Bureau:
They don't insure Cybertruck so no go with them.

Tesla Insurance:
$350 a month / $2100 for 6 months

Geico:
$283 a month / $1700 for 6 months

Progressive:
$136 a month / $820 for 6 months

Statefarm:
Said an agent had to reach out due to my quote.

Ended up with progressive, was surprise with how cheap they were. $136 was what I was paying for just the model 3. Triple checked and baught.

I know in 6 months it'll prob go up for no reason, but good starting rate for now!

This thread is completely useless without telling us what policy limits you have.

Progressive seems to have great CT rates.

They might be "teaser" rates to reel in new customers. Maybe they hammer you when the next 6-month premium is due.

For those who switched keep us posted.

Whats the thinking on a $500 deductible for a $100k car? If you ever turn in even a $1,000 claim they will hammer your rates.

Also with Progressive. Same rate. Just picked up CT yesterday. Was a great vehicle.

I chose Tesla insurance (Arizona). My first two month's premiums were $219.93 and $219.43.

I was blown away by Progressive's quote. Clean record in MA and default quote with safe driver was $455 for 6 months. That was so low I upped my coverage and got rid of safe driver and it was still $590 for 6 months. Only other place that even quoted me a price was Geico and they quoted $344 per month for default comprehensive coverage.
