Cybertruck lead engineer warns against using NACS extension cords at Superchargers

This is what I purchased for home use & when traveling for use at a destination charger, or more importably, at friends or relatives homes where the power source is not within reach of the Tesla mobile connector.

I should also note that Lectron specifically says "NOT SUPERCHARGER COMPATIBLE - This Tesla charging cable extension cord will not work with Superchargers."

I have also confirmed it works when using the Tesla mobile connector via the CT 240v vault outlet to charge another vehicle. As such, it could be used to charge a stranded EV that‘s ‘out of the reach’ of the mobile connector cord, or at a very unsafe location, like on the shoulder of an interstate free.

These are most likely being used by the Rivian and Ford owners who otherwise have to take up 2 SC parking spots. Instead of taking up 2 Tesla SC spots now, they’re breaking or overheating them

Why do you want one?

The last thing I want to do is mess with charging paraphernalia. Just back in and plug in, that's what makes the Supercharger Network so good.

My house. Having an extension to gen 3 wall charger for greater distance would be helpful.
