And that means you see the n-a-t-a post as ~9 am, before the not-wes post.

Cause v effect

Tesla removed the mention of the inductive charger from the service manual. And, having seen the source posts I have no reason to believe it wasn't both Wes and accurate.
Where were the source posts made?

I don't know why anyone would be under the impression that wireless charging was coming to Cybertruck.

Because it used to be in the service manual and there is/was a connection for it on the pack:

They later removed the reference to it...

Fair enough I suppose, but I don't ever remember seeing it in even the most optimistic list of features from Tesla. Boat mode though...

Noted.

How exactly did you think it was going to charge itself while it was roaming around autonomously? Clearly, you had conceived of a much more elegant solution. Let’s hear it!

It’s as if some of you don’t understand what this news potentially means. If you bought a S3XY vehicle for less money, you are going to have a vehicle (as you were promised) that would be fully capable of FSD and have the ability to be added to the fleet to earn you money as a Robotaxi (“appreciating asset”).

Unless there is some other autonomous option for charging your CT WILL NOT be able to do that (at least not for as long or to the same degree- once again there will be no parity). It’s a core competency that you ostensibly paid for. It’s absolutely insane to me how willing some of you are to be compliant doormats!!!

Do I intend to use my $120,000 FS/CB as a Robotaxi? HELL NO! Should I get the full benefit of the bargain that I made? HELL YES!

And, irrespective of what my intentions are with this promised capability, by the number of listings in my area of cybertrucks on Turo, there are a significant number of you out there who do want to/need to have your trucks earning some income for you.

So, unless they intend reverse course/simultaneously implement that snake thing or some other auto-charging methodology, this IS NOT a trivial matter. Importantly, they haven’t said that there won’t be any auto charging option for the CT, so, I guess we’ll see.

While I'm disappointed this won't happen, I'd still buy an Optimus bot either way. So it doesn't change my life all that much.

Sure, it’s just that you’ll be out of an additional $20,000 minimum for capability that you were supposed to have already.

A lot more than $20k if Cybertruck pricing is any indicator! :ROFLMAO:

...Seriously I can't wait to buy one though.
