When we do get the emails will they tell us what is actually available ie Dual or Tri motors etc. I don't want to order a Tri then have to wait a year because they are only making Dual? Same with accessories?

Yes. Per every other Tesla model launch: They will let you know the initial configurations/ what is available to you when you are invited to order. At that point you can order, cancel, or simply wait in the queue until you want to place your order. If you wait, it's basically like sitting at a rest area. You can pull back into the order queue highway whenever you see the option or financial situation you desire.

I work in Photography, The second can be as simple as its further away, it's a different angle. I can still see the roof in the second CT

It would have made no sense for Tesla to send config emails out before the event.
The odds of someone leaking price or anything else prior to the event would have been astronomical.
