I agree. That’s why I just got the one set for now and hoping a cyberus version comes out next so I can switch them to the fronts and put the old ones in the backFinally got a set!! I wish they had the Cybertruck graffiti logo, beast would be awesome too!
I picked up and installed the Model Y set a few weeks ago. You can defnitely see those in daylight, faintly but clearly. Obviously ti's much more pronounced the darker it gets outside. Suspect these will be very similar.Puddle Light changes everything. Hope this shows during daylight too. Repped!
Here’s what you were thinking of and it looks like they still haven’t got it sorted. As I remember from a few months ago wasn’t it hit and miss as far as working on the CT ?!has that been Ironed out? Would love to order as I have Tesla emblem lights in my M3 as well.
I replaced all my door lights a few months ago to blue lights. They are all the exact same light. No difference between front and rear.I ordered two sets too…are you saying that the same type fit the rears??
Don't think they will. It's possible our early-VIN CT is just fussier, we've certainly seen that with the internal light locations, but the OEM 3/Y puddle lights did not work in ours. It is the same connection, that's not changed since the first Model S's in 2012, but at the PCB level, something is up.Sweet! ordered!
I ordered These for the back! Same instructions and connection. Should work! I love they added a $10 Cybertruck tax on these….
Not really, would be very blurry. You need the gobo lens positioned at the focal convergence point (basically nearer the light source). The cheap puddle light just use printed plastic (which will fade and deteriorate in a couple of years). The better ones use laser-etched glass, the same as commercial gobos.I’m not sure how these work but would be curious if the same result can be achieved by applying a Cybertruck shaped vinyl mask to the original door lights.
Yes! Just ordered two sets....?@AO-Pete So now that there's an official Tesla version, hopefully Abstract Ocean can debug theirs.
As @AO-Pete stated, I don't think those lights will work. I just pulled them up on my phone and it stated it is not compatible with the Cybertruck. Therefore, I am assuming the size and/or connection is not the same for the Cybertruck and the Model 3.Sweet! ordered!
