And the tail gate looks fat enough to easily house the telescoping ramp/backstop.

The tonneau cover is closed, so the lighting in the bed is only from the bed light and the red light on the ground is from the light on the tailgate.

Not sure. It might be 6 ft at the bottom, but less so as you get higher, due to the rearward slant of the bulkhead.
