I can't believe Stephanie recorded and posted this! The proper etiquette is to roll up with a selfie video and tell them they cannot park there, and will be receiving a fine for "having too much fun". I'll definitely be getting a solid winch because I do plan to get my cybertruck stuck at least within a month of delivery

This is the way.

If you’ve never gotten your truck stuck you probably never needed a truck to begin with.

Well, then you know the book "MUD: A Military History", which details the effect of mud on military actions throughout history.

This demonic force that has decided the course of history has now met the Cybertruck.

Has it won the initial round?
in the end, Mother Nature kicks everybody's ass!

OGRE sez:

I have gotten my ruck stuck and 2 others that were trying to help me out. Wound up getting a trackhoe and chain to the matter!

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone thought it was stuck in the first place:

1) The suspension is in the normal height mode. If it were stuck, don't you think it would have occured to them to increase the ground clearance?

2) The F-350 looks more stuck than the Cybertruck, especialy at the odd angle it's parked. The Cybertruck looks like it just pulled over to survey that portion of the property.

3) I don't see anyone handling recovery ropes or winch lines.

4) From what I can tell, no one is stuck.

Without some evidence of someone being stuck, this is the dumbest thread on the forum. Even if the there was evidence the Cybertruck was stuck, it's a big nothingburger anyway. So stupid.

‘The person who posted the photo said it.

That is the beginning and end of the “proof”.

It is the internet so everyone assumes whatever matches their preconceived notions.

We don’t know if it’s stuck. Personally, I just think it’s awesome seeing it out driving it in fields and playing in the dirt. Stuck or not.

Stuck or not, this sounds like pure Elon to me. Remember the reveal? Franz chucked the massive ball bearing and cracked the front driver side window. Elon didn't hesitate to have Franz have a go at the window just behind it. SAME RESULT! But what was the actual result .....? MASSIVE news coverage around the world. Even though the second window cracking elicited an "OMFG" response from Elon, I think it absolutely is pure Elon to "give it a go" and see what happens. I expect to see and hear a lot more media over this, and I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing. Paul

I wonder if the exoskeleton (?) hit with the sledgehammer weakened the glass enough after the test throws backstage.

You can see no one is in the driver's seat spinning the wheels. So it's unclear how anyone could tell it was stuck simply by driving by. I've seen trucks that looked fine be hopelessly stuck and trucks buried to their axles, drive right out. Without seeing wheels spinning it would be pure speculation that the truck was stuck, based on the scene in the video.

But, yeah, even Twitter users want more eyeballs on their otherwise uninteresting videos. Imagine if the headline was "Cybertuck parks in a muddy field to survey factory site". That's just not going to get as many eyeballs.

The funny thing is she also had some video of the truck blazing through nearby fields and kicking up dust. Those videos are way cooler than what is a rather boring photo of a stopped truck and a bunch of guys standing around.

Which of course makes you wonder about motivations.

I think her other video would have gained as much or more traction.

I love that video, but I am biased hahaha

Looking forward to clearer better content SOON!

Yes, I hope they get it stuck, break it, flood it and do all of the things we've been doing with trucks for years. I certainly hope they do this before they sell it to me so I don't have to wonder why they didn't. I got my very first 4x4 (1980 GMC) stuck on a red clay road in north Florida on my first outing. Combination of the wrong tires and lack of experience. But I learned you have to know what you're doing. We literally have dolomite mines nearby and that is like powder. It's hardened into bricks on our work vehicles. Some substrates are just difficult. I hope they really test it in a bunch of different environments.

Off road capability is more insurance than anything else for me. I don't want to call somebody to drive to the middle of nowhere to pull me out.

If Elon gets his wish to Nuke the poles it'll get real muddy real quick.
If that is true, I will pay for the ticket to Mars out of my own pocket for ppl I dislike the most on Earth. 7 months in a stainless can and getting nuked when released...who are the true Avengers now?!
