Cybertruck window tint - what percentage did you install?!

I did 5% on the 2 front doors and 20% over the rear doors give it a perfect uniform look. I own a tint shop in New Jersey and we’re extremely busy and haven’t had the chance to tint the windshield but I’m going 35% on the windshield.

The big question that I have that no one seems to know is what size of roll can do the whole windshield? My tint guy thinks that 60 inches will be too small for the widest parts. He thinks I need to order a 72 inch roll. Would you know the answer to that? Also, do you tint over the factory black border around the windshield? And lastly, if I put 5% over all sides, including the rear windows which already are tinted, will that make them way too dark when you’re inside?

70% on windshield. 15% on front windows. Added 50% to rear windows, bed window and roof. Those windows are all factory tinted, but adding 50% got them to be equal to the new 15% as far as darkness/color so the truck looks even on all windows. I added to the front windows. I did all ceramic tint for all.

60” roll will have complete coverage for the windshield. 5% over the rears does darken them up nicely. It’s more a matter of preference some like it that dark.

I did 3M Crystaline 70% on the windshield and rear sides and then 20% on the front sides to match the rear sides. Technically the legal limit here in Florida is 30% and I believe the windshield is supposed to be 100% but I've never seen it enforced here. I've had 3M Crystaline on my S for over six years, still like new and lifetime warranty.

Note that the tint doesn't really impact the heat rejection so going darker is mainly for aesthetics.

Did I see you in the Somerville/Flemington area yesterday?

Yesterday I was on the Garden State Parkway from the Old Bridge area heading down to the ferry in Cape May on my way to Ocean City Maryland. We had tons of cars following and taking videos and pictures. My CT has “XQUIZITCUSTOMS.COM” on the qtr windows and wrapped in gloss black PPF

It depends on the angle and lighting but my rears are still a bit darker then the fronts. So I think your hunch is correct. I think adding 50% would make them quite a bit darker then the fronts. Maybe they can stick a piece up and you can compare.

Seeing is believing. Interesting my backs are definitely a bit darker than the fronts. I'm wondering if they put 20% on all the rears instead of 70% The receipt shows 70, I'll be over there later this week looking at wraps so I will ask.
