Don't worry, by the time you can take delivery of your CyberTruck, Vespas will be able to fly.
I'll never get one of those when they do make it cause I can't stand the modern Vespas style or the lack of shifters.

I'm a vintage vespa guy only!

But I have been wanting an ev motorcycle, just can't stand the preference for designing ev motorcycles like crotch rockets. Give me an electric classic looking bobber and they can take my money!

I was lent a Vespa the last time my bike was in for its bi-annual service (yes, it's a Zero, it doesn't need to see the shop that often) and I was lent a Vespa...

I swear, it felt like I was going to slide off it! Most uncomfortable ride ever ^-^;

Cute, tho.

It's best to integrate anchor points, I think.

-Crissa
Agreed, anchor points integrated into the truck bed channels for securing stuff would be good. Making them position adjustable would be even better. For me it will be luggage and stuff in the covered protected bed and a bike rack on the hitch for hauling alternate transportation. In my case the bikes are ebikes and I'm hoping the CT will have outlet(s) to charge them.

Also the bed is plastic now so we don't know if the tailgate inner wall is stainless still or just a plastic trim piece strong enough to support loads.
Oh it better not be, plastic doesn't last too long out here especially under use. Most likely its a spray in bed liner over steel.

WIth the exoskeleton the bed will most likely be part of that and so SS with a liner. I would assume the structural battery pack would be under the passenger area eg low and as close to centered as possible (between front and rear motors) for proper weight distribution.

Grape nuts with Silk almond milk is really good. If you don’t like grape nuts, almond milk elevates the flavor.

edit, there was never a typo
Grapes don't have nuts
Almonds don't have nipples

wtf are you eating

I don't know what a bobber is, but my first and second dream bike was a Kawi cop-cycle. The later gen from the 80's had the full body fairing and both had 1000cc's and an all day saddle. I went cross country in the latter. Then I got the 90's Honda Pacific Coast that had the clamshell seat with internal saddlebags, that was the dream, never went slower than 83 MPH. Finally I discovered an electric version that was step thru so it was called a MaxiScooter, but it flew: The Vectrix VX-1

Basically an electric version of the Honda Silverwing with less range and less MPH.

Got my first one in 2009 (a new 2007 model) and got a second one, I loved it so much, in 2011 for the cabin. Last summer I upgraded it to Leaf cells, but you can also buy them new with Lithium Ion batts. Only maintenance in 24 years combined owning was replacing a kill switch and a set of tires.

Sure hope I can get it up into the bed of the cT

Looks like the class of motorcycle which is both uncomfortable to drive, uncomfortable to be around due to noise, not particularly fast, don’t handle well, unpleasant on long trips, and somehow loved by the people who drive short distances on them.

Exactly.. To each their own. I see far too many ugly crotch rockets that are equally loud.. equally useless on long distance and equally loved by people who drive short distances on them. EV motorcycle manufacturers cater to them.. why not me?

The only one that even comes remotely close to looking not butt ugly is the Harley Livewire.. but even that is butt ugly cause they can't make up their mind if they want to cater to BMW motorcycle riders.. or Harley motorcycle riders.. so they designed it in-between both so neither would like it. And they priced it as they price everything Harley.... too expensive for anyone who would really be interested in it, to buy it.. so they sell almost none of them. Old Harley riders who shell out 30-50k for Harleys aren't interested in spending 30k on an electric motorcycle. Young motorcycle riders willing to spend 30k on an electric motorcycle would rather spend that money on a BMW or a Zero. Middle aged guys like me who grew up in a Harley family but also grew up with the internet and a home computer before most people and work in/with tech, want ev drivetrain but traditional styling and can't afford a mortgage for it!

Ok…. Not a fan of crotch rockets either. But at least they handle well and are ridiculously fast. Most bikes like the one in your picture handle like crap at speed.

I’m pretty sure a big part of Harley culture is embracing your inner asshole. Harley owners don’t care that their bikes annoy the hell out of everyone around them. In fact, they seem to relish it.

You can’t annoy people with the sound of an EV. So they just don’t appeal to Harley buyers.

I suspect the HD line will be one of the last ICE brands for this reason alone.

Quite the generalization. I'll pass on that.

Agree that they don't appeal to as I said.. old Harley buyers. But there are plenty of younger potential Harley buyers that like the look, but don't like the noise or the gas. This is why I made a point that the livewire is and will continue to fail unless they attract the market that is interested in it.. not the market that is interested in other completely different visual brands. I'll also save my theories on how Harley won't last much longer at all due to their poor decision making cause this topic was not my point. My intention was that EV buyers are varied in interests and styles more so than EV manufacturers would have us believe. More so in the ev motorcycle market, but still quite a bit in the ev car market.. its like brands are equally judgy in their designs. :)

And yes.. JBee.. that is more in line with an ev motorcycle I would lean towards.. I like my cars and trucks absurdly retro futuristic (80s sci fi), but I like my motorcycles and vespas vintage.
