I agree and you’re not wrong, but when I charge my CB to 100% it gives me a reading of 302 miles. Isn’t that suppose to change to 320 miles? It’s not like other EV from Europe where they base their miles on the way you drive.
Can’t say for CTs since I don’t have mine yet, but Model 3s have the ability to select the wheels used. Wheel selection will have an impact on displayed rated range. I’d assume switching from the AT tire rims to Core wheels, systematically, would change the rated range. However, that should also change how the truck looks on screen; it’ll show itself with Core wheels.

Yes I did not check on my CT software but on previous Teslas I could change the wheel type on the Service section.
This would update predicted range and other things.

Have a FS CB so AT Tires/Rims...just ordered the Winter Tire Set - was like $900 more expensive to get the full kit vs. just tires. So now I have winter setup and 4 spares, lol!

I love the look of the Cyberwheels, but I don’t think it’s worth the $3,500.

I think I’ll stick with the core wheels and then eventually buy the snow tire package for $3,000 then find some used Cyberwheels covers and I should be right around $3,500 and have two sets of wheels and tires.

Thoughts?
FWIW, the all Terrains are needed for the full payload capacity versus all season. If you need the last 270-300 pounds of cargo. The snow tires themselves are rated for higher load than the all terrains (127 vs 123), but no additional payload due to GVWR/GAWR limits.

This might be a stupid question but if you get the Core Wheels do you know if the actual payload sticker will say a lower amount?

The stickers are tire specific

The manual has the as-built options

Thank you so much! That’s kind of crazy. I wonder if when you get the AT Cyber wheels if there are any other hidden changes. With software or otherwise.

The all seasons aren't Light Truck tires and have a lighter load rating. I think they are 116 so 2756*2 = 5512 pounds max.

I wouldn't think there are other changes than the UI graphic showing all seasons.
