Dashboard removal for a rattle?

Hi, does anyone know how to remove the dash, maybe lift it up, just above the steering wheel? I circled where I can hear a prominent rattle. Don't think it's the steering column as others have mentioned as it's higher than that, right in the circled area. Thank you.

Mine is in the SC for a rattle around this location as we speak. I’m on day two (well, plus a tonneau cover that won’t close properly). The rattle is Resolved : “interior rattle understeering wheel, adjusted trim to eliminate noise”

You have a brand new vehicle with a warranty. Why wouldn't you bring this to a service center for correction?

Nice. I’ll mention this at my appt that is scheduled for a front motor grinding sound.

Before you take it in, find a place near the service center where you can repro the rattle on demand. When you take your truck in, take the tech for a drive and show it to them. Then, after they fix it, they will go back and confirm.

Mine was easy to reproduce, all I needed to do was give the steering squircle a light thump on the upper left with the palm of my hand. Even just slightly textured roads would cause it to rattle.

Something to think about - if the rattle only at speed, it might be from the bottom of the wiper blade. This part:

I have the same issue. I think the rattle is coming from the dash as well. May I ask if your issue is resolved by SC and how it was fixed? Thanks in advance!

I have an appointment December 9 and the tech I showed it to said they have been having lots of customers with same issue. He said they’ll just pop the dash of and fix it.

Hopefully an easy fix for them removing the dash as I read somewhere that SC broke the dash while removing it and the owner has to wait a few weeks to get a new dash.. bummer. I have an appointment next week 12/2 and I will post an update here to help others.

I’ve read the same. Said if you don’t have to get trim fixed, don’t. Sometimes comes out worse lol

Tech went for a drive with me and I pointed out the noise and he immediately said it was not normal and we can go back to the shop. They had it for a day and it was explained to me that a part of the dash (under the dash cap and sound deadening material) near the speaker had to be re-secured. Now all nice and quiet.. no rattling!

Would love to DIY this. Service center is very far out of the way for me. I wonder how hard it is to remove the dash? I'm assuming not easy if the service center busted one trying to fix the rattle.
